ScreenCloud Original Version: How To Brand Content Using The App Theme Editor
This article will go through how to use ScreenCloud’s App Theme
Editor to get started on
branding apps you can use in ScreenCloud. You can use multiple services from
our App Store to use as a custom brand
app, which means you can change the theme for colors, set up fonts, and upload
a unique logo as a design asset while using apps on your digital screens. You
can learn more about helpful tips and ideas for branding your apps with
ScreenCloud by clicking here.
Please note, this guide is for branding themes using version 1 of our
ScreenCloud platform at https://screencloud.com. To learn how to brand on
the new platform, if you haven’t migrated over yet, visit here for how to

Which apps support the custom theme editor?
At current, all of the below apps support our custom theme editor, but we’re
adding the functionality to new ones all of the time.

Using the app theme editor to brand apps
2.1. Get started by visiting the “App Store”. 2.2. Select “App Theme
Editor” from the upper right-hand menu.
2.3. The app theme editor will open in a new window. You can view any pre-made
templates or your own themes saved available. Select “Create New Theme”. 2.4. App theme editor settings: you can start using the editor
to customize your theme.
i) Enter a theme title: enter a unique name for your theme.
ii) Select your color schemes: use the color-dropper tool to select a
background color.

ii) Select or use a custom-font URL for the header and body text: select any of our pre-set fonts, or use a hosted custom-font URL to brand your theme.

2.5. Once you’re done, click “Create” and the theme will be saved to themes.You can edit the theme at any time by visiting your “App Theme Editor” from the App Store and selecting “Edit”. Make any changes you see fit to the theme and click “Save”.
Add a custom brand app into your Content Library
3.1. You can now use the custom theme on a custom theme app from ScreenCloud’s App Store. For example, below we’re searching for the “Clock App” which can be branded. 3.2. Click on “Add This App” to start configuring the app. 3.3. While setting up your Clock App, select “Theme” and choose any themes from your account. 3.4. Preview your app to check out how it’ll look live on-screen with your theme. Select “Add App” after you’re done. 3.5. Name your app to keep track of it easily and select “Finished”.
