Use the Speaker on Your TV/Other Audio Device5.1 Power the Speaker
To power the speaker, follow the instructions provided in the full user manual.
Important Safety Instruction
- Please read this instruction manual carefully and completely before using the products. Keep this manual easily accessible at all times.
- Please remove the battery to avoid battery swelling when the speaker is directly powered by the mains adapter.
- Always keep the product dry, and do not expose them to extreme temperatures.
- The speaker must keep the minimum volume before switching the unit on to avoid hearing damage.
- Keep devices away from liquid. Please use a slightly damp cloth to clean the devices.
- Use only the supplied power adapter.
- Use the products with care and set them up on a stable surface of a clean, dust-free environment.
- The unit may get hot during use. Ensure the unit has adequate ventilation.
- Please switch off the speaker after use, and pull out the power adapter from the wall socket when not using for a long time.
- Only qualified person can provide services! Do not attempt to open the unit!

Use the Speaker on Your TV/Other Audio Device
Power the Speaker
There are two ways to power the speaker: the speaker can be powered either
by the built-in Li-battery (Fig 1), or by the mains adapter (Fig 2).
Please note:
- A. Please charge the battery for 3 hours before first use.
- B. When the speaker is directly powered by the mains adapter, the battery is recommended to be removed to avoid battery swelling.
Turn on the Speaker
Rotate the big volume knob clockwise until you hear a short ” click”
Tone Adjustment
Turn on the speaker and set the VOLUME to your required level. Set
TONE(Treble2/Treble1/Normal) to customize your audio preferences (Fig 3).
Select Treble1 to get enhanced dialogue clarity against background sounds.
Select Treble2 to get further boosted speech clarity and intelligibility. For
normal use, you may select Normal for balanced sounds.
Sleep Timer
If needed, you may press “TIMER” to have the speaker shut off automatically
after 30 minutes (Fig 4). Blue LED shows after TIMER is set and goes out after
the speaker powers off. To use the speaker next time, please first turn off
the speaker via the big volume knob, then turn it on again.
Connect the Speaker to Your TV/Other Audio Device
Option1. Connect to 3.5mm AUX/Headphone Audio Out
- If no sound after connection, please go to sound/audio menu settings on your TV and set TV speaker to “headset” (Fig 6) or other proper settings. Settings menu may be different depending on different TV brands and models.
Option2. Connect to RCA Audio Out
- If no sound after connection, please go to sound/audio menu settings on your TV and set TV speaker to “external speakers” (Fig 8)or other proper settings. Setting menu may be different depending on different TV brands and models.
IMPORTANT! TV Red/White ports must be labeled “AUDIO OUT” or “OUTPUT”,
red and white ports from “Component IN”, “Composite IN”, “VIDEO IN” are
UNSUITABLE (Fig 9).
Option3. Connect to Digital Optical or Coaxial Audio Out For TVs with
only Optical or Coaxial audio output, you will need to use the DAC (digital to
analog audio converter) for installation (Fig 10).
Digital to Analog Converter (included)
- Ensure the TV Audio Format is set to “PCM” or “Dolby/DTS” is OFF (Fig 11).
- If no sound after connection, please go to the sound/audio menu settings on your TV and set the TV speaker to “external speakers” (Fig 12) or other proper settings. Setting menu may be different depending on different TV brands and models.
Note:
- The volume of the DAC is adjustable.
- B The optical fiber cable is included, the coaxial cable is not included (purchase separately if needed).
- C If using the optical connection, please slide the input select of the DAC to “OPT”. If using the coaxial connection, please slide the input select to “COA”.
- D More questions about the DAC, please refer to the DAC manual.
Option4. Connect to Your AV Receiver with 6.35mm PHONE Jack
For AV receivers with a 6.35mm phone jack at the front, you will need to
purchase a 6.35mm to 3.5mm audio adapter for installation (Fig 13).
Use the Speaker with Your Own Wired Headset for Private Listening
For private TV listening experience without disturbing your family, plug any of your own wired headset (not included) into the “AUDIO OUT” jack at the rear of the speaker (Fig 14). Click MUTE key at your TV remote to OFF the TV internal speakers. Then you can hear enhanced voice from your wired headset privately.

Accessories such as audio converter, AC adapter, audio cable, and battery are
not covered under this warranty.
