ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
ALWAYS TURN OFF THE POWER SUPPLY FROM MAIN CIRCUIT BREAKER FIRST!
-
Turn off the switch and circuit breaker before installing this LED light fixture.
-
Insert the machine screw (part 2) into the center hole of the crossbar (part 7). Attach the crossbar to your junction box (not included) with the other 2 machine screws (part 3).
• Ensure the screw thread on the center hole is pointing away from the surface. -
Remove the protective paper from the adhesive face of the EVA Gasket (part 8).
-
Pull the supply wires through the gasket opening.
-
Adhere the EVA Gasket to the crossbar and outer edge of the round, surface mount junction box.
• Ensure that the center machine screw on the crossbar is threading through the hole of the EVA Gasket -
Connect supply wires to the LED wires and secure with wire nuts (part 4).
• Black to Black (live)
• White to White (neutral) -
Secure the junction box’s ground wire on the crossbar.
-
Tuck wires into junction box once you confirm wire connections are secure.
-
Position wall plate over the crossbar. Mount the light onto the crossbar.
• Secure with nut + silicone gasket (part 4&5).
• Do not overtighten. -
Make sure the motion detector head is NOT upside down. Rotate the motion sensor so the controls face detection areas.
-
For wet locations, fill the gap of the EVA Gasket and mounting surface with a sealant compound or a Silicone glue (neither included).
-
After mounting the motion-activated light, apply a Silicone sealant compound (not included) around the perimeter of the cover plate. This will seal where the back of the cover plate meets the mounting surface.
Sealant will prevent water from seeping into the junction box. -
Turn on breaker and light switch. When the sensor detects movement at night within the coverage area, the security light will automatically turn on.
• Establish the time settings and maximum sensing range with the details below.
SET TIME SETTINGS
To test the security light, switch the light to TEST mode. Once testing is
complete, switch to:
- 30S-The light will turn off automatically after 30 seconds when no other movement is detected.
- 60S-The light will turn off automatically after 60 seconds when no other movement is detected.
- 120S-The light will turn off automatically after 120 seconds when no other movement is detected.
ESTABLISH SENSITIVITY SETTINGS
There are (3) setting modes you can select to establish the motion detection
range:
L : 13ft-20ft (4m-6m)
M: 20ft – 33ft (6m-10m)
H : 33ft – 45ft (10m – 14m)
To determine which setting is best for your location and whether you need to
reposition the LED heads lay down a measuring tape from light location
extending outwards. Next, walk in an arc across the front of the light to set
off the motion detector and turn on the light. You can also walk straight
towards the light to determine the distance you require. Select the
appropriate setting based on your findings.
ADJUST AND ROTATE
There are 6 swivel points to adjust light position
