Warranty

This light fitting is covered by a 3-year warranty. P lease retains the proof of purchase and evidence of installation by a licensed electrician.
The warranty will be void if there is any damage due to improper usage or modification to the fitting.
This fitting is n ot suitable for use with dimmer switches. The warranty will be void if the fitting is used on the same circuit which has a dimmer switch.

Installation requirements

Must be installed by a licensed electrician.
All wiring and installation of the light fitting must adhere to local and national wiring rules. eg. AS/NZS 3000:2007/Amendment 2:2012 Electrical installations. This fitting is rated Class II and must be maintained during installation.
Select a suitable location for installation;
- This product has an IP44 rating and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
- Suited for applications where the LED light fitting is wall-mounted near ground level to provide pathway lighting.
- Avoid installation locations next to any air vents or permanent moist/damp areas.
Take care not to pull any electrical wires during unpacking as this may damage the connection.
Lay out all the components on a smooth surface and make sure there are no components missing before assembling. If parts are missing, return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection or replacement.
Check whether the fitting has been damaged during transport. Do not operate/install any product which appears damaged in any way. Return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection, repair or replacement.
Ensure the electrical power to the circuit where the installation will be performed has been switched OFF.

Installation directions

Switch power O FF to the circuit where the installation will be performed. Diagram A
Remove all packaging material from the product.
Select a suitable place for installation and check the wall type for mounting depth, wall thickness and cut-out size. Ensure there is no thermal insulation, loose fill insulation, loose combustible materials near or covering the fitting. Ensure there is sufficient clearance to allow cooling for the fitting.
Remove the LED light fitting from the plastic canister.
See if the plastic canister is required for your wall type, e.g. it may be required for concrete or rendered walls.
Cut a hole in the installation location. (Diagram B)
Note:
The cutout dimension is for the LED light fitting only. Additional consideration may be required for the external wiring and terminal box if placed at the rear of the cut-out hole.
Remove the cover from the terminal box and connect the main supply wire to the LED input wire terminals. Ensure the wiring connections and installation maintains the IP44 rating for this light fitting. (Diagram C)
NOTE:
Ensure the correct supply input wires are inserted into the right polarity marking for the input on the terminal
block. Incorrect electrical wiring will void the warranty.

- Neutral Blue or Black Blue or “N”
- Live Brown or Red Brown or “L”
Push all wiring into the cutout hole and position the LED light fitting into the hole while pushing the side clips/springs in until flush against the wall. Diagram D
Return electrical power to the circuit where the new installation has been completed. Diagram E

Safety tips

Always ensure the power is OFF and the fitting has cooled down before performing any maintenance, cleaning or adjustment to the fitting.
To avoid injury or damage to the fitting, ensure that power leads and screws are secure before connecting the power.
Select a suitable location away from liquids and hazards.
Ensure that the fitting does not come in contact with corrosive chemicals, etc.
To clean, wipe with a damp clean cloth. Never soak the fitting with water.
