Quick User Guide
- Not for charging or file transfer.
- ONLY work with DP Alt Mode-supported devices. Please consult your device’s user manual, contact the seller, or check the manufacturer’s website to see if they are DP Alt Mode-supported devices. ONLY work with video-enabled USB-C devices for video output, meaning Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 or up devices. E.g. Thunderbolt 4, USB-C 3.2.

- I can’t get the HDMI port to work. What should I do? Please try some of the following steps:
- Confirm if the connected USB-C port of your device supports DP Alt Mode. Please consult your device’s user manual, contact the seller, or check the manufacturer’s website to see if they are DP Alt Mode supported devices.
- Try a different computer to see if the issue still persists.
- Verify that your monitor is configured to the correct input (HDMI).
- Does this cable support charging?
- No, it doesn’t support charging.
- No signal on the display
- Make sure the USB-C port of your device supports video signal output (DP Alt Mode).
- Make sure your laptop is connected to AC power.
- For some displays that do not automatically detect and switch input sources, please adjust manually to select the correct HDMI input source.
- For displays with multiple HDMI ports, try another one.
- Make sure all connections are tight, and then reboot your devices to see if there are any differences.
- Try to update firmwares from manufacturer official websites. E.g.motherboard BIOS, UEFI of the laptop.
- Screen flickers
- Wipe the ports with an insulated cotton pad before connecting since dust accumulation may lead to poor connection.
- Lower the resolution and refresh rate.
- No sound
- System Preferences> > Sound >> Output. Change the audio output from your laptop to a TV or other devices.
- Update Realtek Audio Driver for Windows 10 (64-bit) or later Audi Driver from the manufacturer’s Official Website.
- Stop working after some time
- Re-plug and make sure all connections are tight, and then reboot your devices.
- Wipe the ports with an insulated cotton pad before connecting since dust accumulation may lead to poor connection.

- Does not support 4K@30Hz?
- The supported resolutions and refresh rates depend on the specifications of host devices and connected displays, cable only transmits content but cannot change the resolutions and refresh rate of the input and output devices.
- For example, Both output & input laptops support 4K@30Hz while the HDMI cable version is 1.3 which supports up to 1080p@60Hz. As a result, the final outcome would only be 1080p@30Hz since the input and output devices can only support 30Hz.
