The Flexibility of Cooking Zones

Usage Convenience

Product Usage Instructions

Follow the instructions below to use the Series 8 Flex induction cooktop:

1. Place the cooktop on a suitable and stable surface with therequired dimensions.
2. Ensure the power cord is properly connected to a power source.
3. To activate the cooktop, touch the Direct Select Premium Touch Control and adjust the power level using the illuminated touch bar.
4. Select the desired cooking zone by touching the corresponding area on the cooktop surface.
5. Place your cookware on the selected cooking zone.
6. For FlexZones, you can use cookware of any shape or size anywhere within the 40cm long zone.
7. If using the triple ring zone, ensure you have extra large cookware that fits within the expandable cooking zone.
8. To adjust the heat, select the appropriate power level using the touch control.
9. Use the Timer function to set a specific cooking time for each zone. The cooktop will automatically switch off the cooking zone at the end of the set time.
10. If needed, use the Alarm function to set an audible alarm at the end of the cooking time.
11. The cooktop also features a count-up timer that shows the elapsed time since starting the timer.
12. To save time and improve efficiency, you can use the PowerBoost function to reduce the heating time for large quantities of food.
13. If desired, you can utilize the FryingSensor with 5 temperature settings for precise frying.
14. For remote monitoring and control, connect the cooktop to the Home Connect app to check its status and access additional functions.
15. If you have a compatible rangehood, you can enable the cook2hood control feature to automatically activate the rangehood when cooking.
16. Ensure safety by regularly checking the digital 2-stage residual heat indicator to identify hot or warm cooking zones.
17. To prevent unintended activation, use the childproof lock function.
18. If there is any overboiled liquid on the cooktop surface, use the WipeProtection feature to wipe it without accidentally changing settings.
19. The main switch allows you to switch off all cooking zones with a single touch.
20. For safety reasons, the cooktop has an automatic safety switch-off feature that stops heating after a preset time without interaction.
21. To monitor energy consumption, use the energy consumption display to view the electricity usage of the last cooking process.
