INSTALLATION
Please note
It is recommended that your new washing machine is installed by a qualified
technician. If you think you’re able to install the washing machine, please
read the installation instructions carefully before proceeding with
installation.
Needed tools
It is recommended that you have the following tools to facilitate the
installation of the washing machine: scissors, pliers, standard screwdriver,
gloves, and spanner.
Unpacking the washing machine
Unpack the washing machine and check if it has suffered any damage during
transport. Should the machine be damaged or any items missing, please contact
your local retailer immediately.
Choosing the location for installation
Choose an installation location that complies with the following
characteristics:
- Rigid, dry, and level surface (if not level, please read the “Levelling the washing machine” section).
- No direct sunlight.
- Properly ventilated.
- Ambient temperature between 0 and 40°C.
- Ambient humidity below 95% (when the temperature is 25°C).
- Keep the washing machine away from heat sources such as coal or gas. Make sure the washing machine is not crushing the power cord. Do not install the washing machine on carpeted floors.
Removing the transport bolts. Fig. 5
Before using the washing machine, remove the transport bolts from the back of
the appliance. To do so, follow the below steps:
- Loosen the four transport bolts.
- Grab the bolts by the head and pull them out.
- Fit the plastic caps into the holes of the transport bolts.
- Store the transport bolts in a suitable place for future use.
Levelling the washing machine
- A. Structure of the levelling feet:
- Lock nut
- Rubber base
- B. Factory state
- Lock nuts on the bottom of the washing machine
- Levelling feet fitted to the lock nuts
Note:
The levelling feet do not come fully fixed for easier installation, so be sure
to fix all four before levelling the washing machine.
- When positioning the washing machine, you should check if the levelling feet are fully fixed; if not, fix them. The lock nuts must be firmly locked to the bottom of the appliance and the levelling feet securely locked into the lock nuts. Fig. 7
- Once the washing machine is installed, press on the opposite corners of the top with both hands in succession and shake the washing machine vertically downwards to check if the levelling feet are firmly fixed and that the washing machine does not wobble. Fig. 8
- If the washing machine wobbles, loosen the lock nut in the direction shown in Figure 9 with the spanner provided until the machine is level and no longer wobbles. Fig. 9
- Finally, use the spanner to fix the lock nut to the bottom of the washing machine (you can also fix the levelling feet lightly by hand to prevent them from moving). Make sure the levelling feet do not move. Fig. 10
WARNING
- The washing machine must be perfectly level and stabilised when all four feet are firmly on the floor.
- Incorrect levelling adjustment may cause loud noises, vibrations of the washing machine, shifting of the washing machine, and other abnormal occurrences.
- The air vent is located at the bottom of the washing machine (to avoid obstructions). Install the washing machine on a solid, smooth, non-slip floor. Do not place the washing machine on a soft blanket or wooden floor or on top of furniture, as this may cause unnecessary injury.
OPERATION
Installing the washing machine
Connecting the inlet hose Fig. 11
- Connect the inlet hose to the tap and fix it by turning it counterclockwise.
- Connect the other end of the inlet hose to the inlet valve on the back of the washing machine and secure it firmly clockwise.
Please note
- If the hose leaks after connection, repeat the process.
- Do not bend the hose.
- Check the inlet hose connection before every use.
Connecting the drain hose
-
The drain hose should be placed at a height of 65-100 cm above the ground, otherwise it may cause poor drainage. Fig. 12
-
You can use the drain-hose bracket supplied to connect the drain hose to the wall, drain pipe, or sink. Fig. 13
-
Make sure that all hose connections are tight.
Please note
Do not immerse the end of the drain hose in water for the washing machine to
work properly.
Electric connection
- Since the maximum current flow is 10 A when the interior temperature of the washing machine increases, make sure that the power supply system (current, supply voltage, and cord) in your home can meet the normal load requirements of electrical appliances.
- Connect the appliance to a properly installed and earthed outlet.
- Make sure that the household supply voltage matches the rated voltage of the washing machine.
- Make sure the power plug matches the socket.
- Do not use multipurpose plugs, sockets, or extension cords.
- Do not connect or disconnect the plug with wet hands.
- When disconnecting the plug, hold it firmly and pull it out. Do not pull the power cord out abruptly.
WARNING
- The washing machine must be properly earthed. If a short circuit occurs, earthing can reduce the risk of electric shock.
- The washing machine must be operated on a circuit separate from other electrical appliances. Otherwise, the surge protector may trip, or the fuse may blow.
Washing machine operation
Please note
- Make sure that the washing machine is properly installed before use.
- Before first use, you should perform a complete washing cycle without laundry.
First use
- Connect the power cord and inlet hose as described in the previous section.
- Add some detergent (about 10 g) to the detergent drawer and close it.
- Press the Power button.
- Turn the selection knob to the Cotton position.
- Press the Start/Pause button.
This will remove any water left in the washing machine from the manufacturer’s test.
Sorting the laundry
Read these recommendations carefully to avoid problems with the washing
machine and damage to your clothes.
- Do not exceed the maximum rated capacity.
- Sort clothes by colour and care label. Most garments have a textile care label on the collar or on a side seam.
- Make sure that all pockets are empty, as foreign objects (coins, paper clips, etc.) can damage the laundry and the washing machine components.
- Close zips, fasten hooks, etc. before washing.
- When washing clothes, it is advisable to sort them by colour. Under no circumstances should dark clothes be washed with light clothes.
- Heavily soiled areas, stains, etc. should be pre-treated with liquid detergent, stain remover, etc.
- Turn clothes that clump easily and have a woollen surface inside out before putting them in the washing machine.
Please note
Make sure that no clothes are jammed between the door and the seal.
Using the detergent drawer
- Open the detergent drawer.
- If you are going to use the prewash programme: add detergent to the prewash drawer compartment (compartment I). You can use either powder detergent or liquid detergent.
- Add main-wash detergent to the main-wash drawer compartment (compartment II). You can use either powder detergent or liquid detergent.
- Add softener to the fabric-softener drawer compartment (compartment ).
- Use a detergent suitable for machine washing at different temperatures for best results and minimum water and energy consumption.
- The needed detergent/softener amount should be added only once. Please refer to the detergent/softener manufacturer’s instructions.
- Too much detergent will produce a lot of foam, which can easily overflow, affecting the dissolution of detergent and making rinsing harder.
- Choose a low-foaming or non-foaming powder detergent suitable for front-load washing machines
- A detergent overload may produce too much foam, this way affecting washing efficiency.
Please note
- It is normal for some liquid detergent to fall into the drum when opening the detergent drawer. Avoid frequent opening of the detergent drawer to reduce liquid-detergent waste.
- Do not exceed the MAX mark in the detergent drawer.
- Dilute the concentrated softener or detergent first and then pour it into the detergent drawer.
Steps for washing
- Press the Power button to switch on the washing machine.
- Turn the selection knob to select a washing programme.
- Adjust the washing programme settings (temperature, speed, etc.) to your needs.
- Use the Delayed Start feature if you want to finish the wash cycle at a specific time.
- Press the Start/Pause button.
Steps to change washing programmes during operation
- Press the Start/Pause button to stop the washing process.
- Choose another washing programme with the selection knob.
- Press the Start/Pause button again to start the new washing programme.

Warnings
- Check whether the water inside the drum has been drained before opening its door. Do not open the door if there is still water inside the machine.
- Do not wash one garment only, as this could destabilise the washing machine. Always introduce at least 3 or 4 clothes so that draining can be done smoothly. For a better efficiency and water and energy save, we recommend filling two thirds of the drum with laundry.
- The information given for programmes other than the ECO 40-60 programme are indicative only.
- The eco 40-60 programme can clean normally soiled cotton clothes declared as washable at 40ºC or 60ºC, together in the same cycle. This programme is used to assess compliance with EU eco-design legislation.
- The times indicated for each programme match the length with standard loads and temperatures. Other loads and temperatures will need different programme length.
- The most efficient programmes in terms of energy consumption are generally those that are carried out at lower temperatures and longer length.
- Load the washing machine to the quantity estimated for each programme, this will help you save energy and water.
- The length, and energy and water consumption of each programme may vary according to the weight and type of laundry, the additional functions active, water, and ambient temperature.
- It is recommended the use of liquid detergent for washing programmes at low temperature. You can vary the quantity of detergent according to the quantity of laundry and its soiling level. Follow the detergent manufacturer recommendations for the quantity of detergent you must use.
- Noise and remaining moisture level depend on the spin speed. The higher the spin speed, the higher the noise and the lower the residual moisture content.

Other functions
Emergency door unlocking
- If you want to remove the laundry in case of long-term power failure, make sure that the water level in the drum is below the door bottom level, the temperature is below 40°C (or low enough to exclude the risk of burns), and the drum does not rotate. Then, disconnect the drain hose and reconnect it. Wait until there’s no more water in the drum.
- Once the water has completely drained out of the washing machine, open the drain-outlet cover at the front bottom-right corner, pull the rod slightly downwards, and, as soon as you hear a slight sound, open the door and take out the laundry.
- Refit the drain-outlet cover.
- This method can only be used in an emergency
Resume function
This device has a Resume function in case of switch-off. If there is a loose plug or a power failure occurs during the washing process, the appliance is able to remember the previously selected settings and resume operation once power is restored (it must be switched on again by pressing the power button).
Memory function
The appliance can automatically remember the last settings used. When you switch the washing machine back on, it will remember the last washing programme and settings selected (this means that all settings of the last wash will be selected by default when you switch the appliance back on).
Laundry weight detection
At the beginning of the wash, the washing machine will estimate the laundry weight and automatically dispense detergent (provided there is enough in the drawer) and adjust the water amount accordingly to save as much as possible.
Unbalance control system
- It may take some time for the washing machine to balance the weight distribution of laundry in case of unbalance.
- If the laundry is still unevenly distributed in the drum, spin speed can be decreased to avoid strong vibrations.
- If there isn’t enough laundry in the drum, the washing machine may not spin due to the unbalance control system. Add more laundry for the machine to start spinning.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Proper maintenance on the washing machine can extend its working life.
Warning
Unplug the appliance and close the tap before maintenance.
Cleaning the drum
Clean the drum if you see rust on the inside. Never use steel wool pads for
this purpose.
Cleaning the surface
- Use a dry cloth or a cloth lightly dampened with a neutral, non-abrasive detergent to remove dirt from the surface. Make sure that the surface of the washing machine remains dry at all times. Do not scratch the washing machine with sharp objects.
- The surface can be cleaned with diluted non-abrasive, neutral detergents if necessary
Cleaning the drain outlet
- Open the drain-outlet cover as shown in Figure 14. You can open it with the help of a non-sharp, non-cutting object.
- Unscrew the plug and remove any foreign material or objects from the drain outlet. Be careful with possible water that may come out during the process. Fig. 15

- Place the filter back in its original position.
- Reconnect the inlet hose. Fig. 19
Cleaning the detergent drawer
- Open the detergent drawer (lift it up slowly) and remove the siphon by lifting it up asV shown in Figure 20.
- Wash the detergent drawer and the siphon with tap water or clean them with a brush.
- Refit the detergent drawer and the siphon.
- It’s possible for some detergent to get into the drum when removing the detergent drawer. This is normal.
- To avoid spillage, make sure that no water, detergent, or softener is left in the detergent drawer before removing it.
Defrosting
Do not expose the washing machine to temperatures below 0°C, as this may
affect its operation and the lifespan of its parts. Should you notice frozen
parts, follow the below procedure:
- Turn off the washing machine and unplug the power cord.
