GENIEGRIPS Protective Caps for Forklift Forks
Product Information
The product is called GenieGrips and it is a set of protective caps designed to be installed on the tip of fork tynes of a forklift. These caps provide protection to the forks and prevent damage to the loads being lifted. The caps are made of durable material and come with a metal surface at the top for added strength.
Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Raise Forktynes
- Safely raise forktynes to waist height.
- Ensure caps are correct way up, with the metal surface at the top.

Step 2:
Insert Caps
Approach tyne at 90 degree angle and slot the Caps on to the tip of fork tynes. Firmly push them on to tyne. -
Step 3
Mallet installation
- Once firmly on tyne, use a rubber mallet to slot the caps onto the tip of fork tynes.
- Ensure the tip of the tyne touches inside the back of the cap.
- Firmly push them onto the tyne.

Step 4: During Use
- Caps are now ready for use.
Important: When using the GenieGrips® Caps, licenced forklift drivers must enter the pallet at a 90 degree angle and allow sufficient clearance above and below tyne when entering/exiting to ensure Cap installation is not compromised.

Step 5: Removal and Storage
- To remove, use a metal rod and mallet to loosen and gently remove the caps from fork tyne. ALWAYS:
- Ensure GenieGrips® Caps are kept clean and free of contamination(eg grease, oil, paint, etc)
- Ensure forklift truck is only operated by licensed/trained personnel and in accordance with manufacturer’s safe operating procedures.

Step 6: Cleaning
- Keep caps clean by using a cleaning solution.
- Store caps in the protective drawstring bag provided to keep them clean and free of contamination (e.g., grease, oil, paint, etc).
