TROUBLESHOOTING

BEFORE STARTING THE BIKE WHAT DO I DO?

  1. This 2 stroke dirt bike needs a mixture of gasoline with engine oil by ratio of 25:1. A slightly higher oil concentration is recommended for new vehicles at a mix of 20:1 ratio, this allows for better lubrication and break-in. If the bike is not used for more than 2 weeks, it is recommended to burn or drain the residual fuel in the carburetor to prevent the residual agglomeration after volatilization of the fuel from affecting subsequent normal startup and use.
  2. Make sure that the pull rope of the kill switch is always in a retracted state, otherwise, it may not start normally. If you find that the bike is having trouble starting, check to see if the pull rope is loose.
  3. Lightly tug on the pull-start cord to start. Pull a little bit when you feel resistance and then reset and pull again. Leave the dirt bike to warm up for about 5 minutes and then you can enjoy your ride.

The bike can’t start

  1. Disconnect the red and black connectors, attempt to start by using the pull-start. If the pull-start does not work, this indicates there is problem with the kill switch and it needs to be replaced.
  2. Disconnect the kill switch wiring. If the bike still cannot start, it could be a problem with the carburetor. Please detach and clean the carb and replace the oil. Reattach the carb and attempt to start. If this still does not work, replace the carb.

The bike can start, but stay running.

  1. If the bike turns off after starting, this indicates that the idle speed of the engine is too low. To change the idle speed, adjust the bolt of the carburetor by turning it clockwise.
  2. If after releasing the accelerator the engine is still running at high speed or the bike is still moving forward, please check the following:
  3. Check the idle speed by adjusting bolt of the carburetor by turning it counterclockwise to adjust the engine stability.
  4. lf adjusting the carburetor idle speed screw does not work, please check whether the throttle cable is installed correctly. Double check whether the throttle handle and carburetor port is malfunctioning (for example: the throttle handle does not return, indicating the throttle wire is stuck).

The engine malfunction:
Abnormal engine noise: Generally if the reducer, hand puller, or magnetic flywheel is having problems, replace the corresponding accessories.

WHAT TO DO IF THE ENGINE CYLINDERS ARENT WORKING:

  • Normally, if a new bike runs ata high speed without the breakin period, or the ratio of the mixed gasoline with engine oil is too low, the engine may be blown. If the piston is not completely stuck, the bike will refuse to run or lack power when it is turned on, if it is totally stuck, then cylinder, piston, piston ring, piston pin, needle roller, circlip and cylinder paper gasket need to be replaced.

FRONT AND REAR WHEEL ROTATION IS NOT FLEXIBLE

  1. If the front and rear disc brake is stuck:
  2. Adjust the self-contained bolt of the disc brake so that the disc brake is in the middle position of the disc brake clearance.
  3. lf adjusting the disc brake bolt still has no effect, or the wheel is stuck on the disc brake at a certain point, check if the disc brake is deformed, and replace it.
  4. If there is abnormal sound when the wheel rotates: check whether the wheel hub bearing is damaged.
  5. 1f wheels are inflexible:
  6. Loosen the axle fixing nut until the wheel turns freely(Turn hard, the front wheel turns freely for 2-3 turns, and the rear wheel turns 1 turn)
  7. Check whether the spacers on the left and right sides of the front wheel hub are reversed.

BRAKES DONT STOP

Loosen the brake cable fixing bolt on the disc brake, push the caliper up and tighten the brake cable, then tighten the fixing bolt. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us by calling at (855)573-9396, we are always here to help.
