Product Information

The Halytus HooKee is the world’s first portable fitness device with adjustable resistance. It allows you to perform full-bodyworkouts with over 100 exercises using the provided accessories. The device offers up to 40kg of adjustable resistance and provides thorough guidance and a personal training- like experience when connected to your mobile phone.

Specification

A. Preparation before use:

  1. A smartphone with Android OS running on it.
  2. Download the file provided and install it.

B. Turn on the device:

Press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds to turn on the device. When successfully turned on, the LED on the button will flash blue and red, then turn green.

C. Connect the device to the app:

  1. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your phone.
  2. Open the Halytus app and follow the instructions to connect the device. Note: You can also operate the device without connecting to the app.

D. Install the handles or the board:

The handles are designed for better grasp during different exercises. Follow the instructions on the app or below to choose the right handles.

  • Long bar: Works similarly to I-handles and is mainly used for double-sided upper/lower body training.
  • H board: Used to fix the device to the ground. It is suggested to use the board for most of the training.

E. Interact with Halytus app using H-Con:

The H-Con can be installed on the handle to control the app. Single press to select OK, pause, or play. Press and hold for 1 second to return to the previous content. Double-press to skip the current content. Note: The H-Con needs to be put back in its original position after each workout.

F. Resistance adjusting:

You can adjust the resistance according to your exercise habits. The maximum resistance is 100 lbs.

G. Change the resistance direction:

  • Inward resistance
  • Outward resistance
  • Bi-directional resistance
  • Resistance free

H. Check the Bluetooth connection status:

Single press the reset button. If the device is connected to the Halytus app, the status LED will blink 3 times in blue. If the device is disconnected, the status LED will blink 3 times in red.

I. Device charging:

Connect the USB type-C cable to the charging port of the device for charging.

J. Device update:

Upgrade the firmware version by following the instructions provided in the release notes.

Button Operation Definitions:

  • Single press: Perform the specified action
  • Double press: Skip the current content
  • Triple press: Switch modes

PREPARATION BEFORE USE

TURN ON THE DEVICE

Press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds to turn on the device. When the device is successfully turned on, the LED on the button will flash in blue and red and then turn into green.

CONNECT THE DEVICE TO THE APP

  • Turn on Bluetooth function on your phone
  • Open the Halytus app, follow the instructions and connect the device.
    Note : you can also operate the device without connecting to the Halytus app.

WARNING

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  2. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.

There are Three resistance modes that you can choose:

  • Inward resistance
  • Outward resistance

You can use the button on the panel or the H-Con to switch modes:

  • Single press the resistance setting button on the right of the panel to switch from the modes above.
  • Triple press the H-Con to switch modes

You can charge the device using normal phone chargers with the maximum power No more than 5V-2A.

You can use Halytus app to upgrade the firmware of the device.
The operation routine is as below: Me -> Click on the device card -> Firmware Version -> Upgrade.
