SEAGATE Expansion External Drive with Software

Product Information

The product is an Expansion External Drive manufactured by Seagate. It features USB 3.0 connectivity and is compatible with both PC and Mac.
The drive comes preformatted with exFAT file system, allowing it to be used seamlessly on both PC and Mac. However, if you want to use it with Time Machine on Mac, you need to reformat the drive specifically for Mac, which will erase all data stored on it.
The product is also certified to meet Google’s compatibility standards and is compatible with Chromebook devices.
It is important to follow safe removal procedures for your operating system when disconnecting the product in order to protect your data.

Product Usage Instructions

To connect the drive to a USB-C port, you need a micro-B to USB-C cable (not included).
For PC users, refer to the “Start_Here_Win” document located on the drive for initial setup instructions.
For Mac users, refer to the “Start_Here_Mac” document located on the drive for initial setup instructions.
If you want to use the drive with Time Machine on Mac, it must be reformatted specifically for Mac. Keep in mind that reformatting will erase all data on the drive.
