Angle design GB 100 Angle Stop Set
Product Information
The Angle Stop is a versatile tool designed for use with all units from Angle.design. It is made in Denmark and can be swapped and reconfigured to suit the material being worked on. The angle stop can also be used instead of a trimming saw, allowing users to set the angle and cut objects directly. The end stopper is helpful for making repeated cuts, particularly when cutting slabs of slate. When flipped over, the guide rail can be used for cutting with a blade knife. Larger items, such as glue-laminated timber beams and building blocks, can be cut using a sword saw. The angle stop can also be used as a gutter bracket milling cutter, and the set includes a 26 mm router bit that fits most gutter brackets. The angle guide rail meets various safety standards.
Product Usage Instructions
- To use the angle stop, select the appropriate unit from Angle.design and configure it according to the material being worked on.
- If using it as a trimming saw, set the desired angle and cut the object directly.
- For repeated cuts, use the end stopper. When cutting slabs of slate, ensure to use a suitable diamond blade.
- When flipping over the guide rail, it can be used for cutting with a blade knife while maintaining the measurements on the main rail.
- For cutting larger items like glue-laminated timber beams and building blocks, use a sword saw. Angle.Design has developed a special chain, TR 401, for cutting specific materials.
- To use the angle stop as a gutter bracket milling cutter, adjust the depth and distance of the router to the guide rail.
- Measure up to the firewall or fascia, place the main rail against the eaves, and mill the first groove.
- Turn the assembly over and adjust the distance between gutter brackets. Use the spacer bracket in the first groove to maintain the desired distance.
- If a distance greater than 62 cm is required between gutter brackets, use the 121 cm main rail.
- Milling the remaining grooves is easy. Consider marking a small line on the guide rail to indicate the distance the router must travel for the desired groove length.
Note: Always refer to the manual and safety instructions provided by Angle.design for proper usage and safety precautions.
- The angle stop and gutter bracket cutter set works with all units from Angle.design. These units can be swapped and reconfigured to suit the material being worked on.
- The indicator arrow goes on top of the guide rail. The rail can be locked at 0°, and can be adjusted from +50° to –70°. The guide rail on the angle stop can be turned around and used on both sides.
- To a large extent, the angle stop can also be used instead of a trimming saw. Simply set the angle and cut the object. Can be used like a sliding bevel before cutting an item directly.
- The end stopper is helpful for making repeated cuts. Here, the end stopper is being used to cut slabs of slate. When cutting natural slate or stone slabs, a suitable diamond blade must be used.
- When flipped over, the guide rail can be used for cutting with a blade knife. The measurements on the main rail remain valid.
- Larger items, such as glue-laminated timber beams and building blocks, can be cut using a sword saw. Angle.Design has developed a special chain, TR 401, for cutting aerated concrete, corrugated Eternit, and Leca.
- The angle stop can also be used as a gutter bracket milling cutter. The set includes a 26 mm router bit, which fits most gutter brackets. If necessary, a wider bit can easily be used.
- Adjust the depth of the router and the distance to the guide rail. Remember to adjust the router assembly down towards the surface, and keep the router on a low speed to avoid burning the bit.
- Measure up to the firewall or fascia, place the main rail against the eaves, and mill the first groove.
- Turn the assembly over and adjust to the desired distance between gutter brackets. Place the spacer bracket in the first groove to maintain the distance to the next groove. If you desire a distance greater than 62 cm between gutter brackets, you can use the 121 cm main rail.
- Now, milling the remaining grooves is very easy. It can be a good idea to mark a small line on the guide rail to indicate how far the router must travel to achieve the desired groove length.
