Product Information

The SDE-3000D is a stereo digital delay unit that features two digital delays, namely DIGITAL DELAY 1 (DDL1) and DIGITAL DELAY 2 (DDL2). It is designed to provide high-quality delay effects for audio signals. The unit has various input and output options, including mono and stereo configurations, as well as support for external MIDI devices.

Product Usage Instructions

Connecting Your Equipment:

  • To prevent malfunction and equipment failure, always turn down the volume and turn off all units before making any connections.
  • For mono delay, use the MONO IN/OUT configuration with L/MONO input and L/MONO output.
  • The INPUT L/MONO, CTL 4, and 5 jacks are only for use with the GA-FC foot controller.
  • The STEREO IN/OUT configuration allows for stereo input and output, with the direct sound and effect sound mixed.
  • Use only the specified expression pedal to avoid malfunction and damage to the unit.
  • If necessary, connect an external earth or ground.
  • Use TRS/TRS or TRS/MIDI connecting cables to connect the unit to an external MIDI device.
  • Connect your computer using a commercially available USB cable that supports USB 2.0. Do not use a cable designed only for charging.

Turning the Power On:

  • Before turning the unit on/off, always turn the volume down to avoid any sudden loud sound.
  • Connect the AC adaptor to the DC IN jack to turn on the power.
  • Turn on any connected devices first, followed by your guitar amp and related equipment.
  • When turning off the power, do it in reverse order.
  • Unsaved data is lost when the power turns off, so make sure to save any important data before turning off the unit.

For more detailed information, refer to the Reference Manual available on the Roland website.

  2. Turn on any connected devices first, and then your guitar amp and related equipment.

    • Do this in reverse order when turning off the power.
    • Unsaved data is lost when the power turns off. Before turning the power off, save the data that you want to keep.
    • The bank and memory number that you were using when you turned the power off are stored in memory, and are recalled when you turn the unit back on.

Play Mode

The unit enters “play mode” after you turn on the power and the unit is ready to be played.
