Product Information

The Thule Smart Panels are front panels designed for use with the Thule Sun Blocker G2 and Thule Rain Blocker G2 awnings. They provide additional shade and protection from the sun and rain.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Make sure to carefully read the instructions before installation, use, or repair to avoid voiding the warranty.
  2. For further details on the number of panels that can be combined with your specific awning type, consult a dealer.
  3. To prevent color fading from sun exposure, it is recommended to store the panels when not in use.
  4. When it rains, lower one side of the awning to allow water drainage.
  5. If wind reaches a strength of 6 Bft., store the panels and close the awning to prevent damage.
  6. Avoid placing heat sources near the walls or roof of the awning.

Maintenance
Follow these maintenance instructions to ensure the longevity of your Thule Smart Panels:

  1. Before folding, make sure there are no hard objects on the window to prevent impressions.
  2. Allow the panels to dry thoroughly before storing them for an extended period of time.

General remarks
The amount of combinable panels depends on the awning type. Consult a dealer for further details. The sun can affect colors depending on usage. When it rains, put one side of the awning lower so that the water can drain. When wind reaches 6 Bft. please store the panels and close the awning. Don’t place heat sources near the walls or the roof.

Maintenance
Ensure that there are no hard objects on the window during folding. This is to prevent impressions. Let the panel dry thoroughly before long time storage. Use pure water or a dry brush to clean the panel.
