Operation

START UP

  • Check to make sure power is disconnected and the machine is off before setup.
  • SAFETY GLASSES must be worn at all times during operation.
  • Before operating the pump for the first time, fill it with liquid.
  • CAUTION: DRY OPERATION IS HARMFUL TO THE PUMP. THIS MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR STATOR. THE STATOR IS LUBRICATED BY THE LIQUID WHICH IS BEING PUMPED THROUGH THE SYSTEM.
  • If the liquid being pumped is highly viscous, dilute it before filling the pump. The liquid fill-up will lubricate the stator on initial start-up.
  • If the pump is shut down temporarily, enough liquid will remain in the system to provide lubrication upon restarting. It is advisable to maintain the suction piping at a higher elevation than the centerline of the pump . This will contain some liquid in the pump at the time of shutdown.
  • After the pump has been filled with liquid, check the direction of the pump rotation by momentarily starting and stopping the drive. See nameplate for correct rotation.

Cleaning

  • Power Off and Disconnect all power before cleaning.
  • SAFETY GLASSES must be worn at all times during operation.

    2. Direct pump discharge back into the hopper to allow circulation.
    3. For information on the chemical makeup of “Master Kleen” please contact Goodnature Products customer service (716)-855- 3325.

    5. Turn pump “on” to allow solution to circulate for approximately 10 minutes.
    6. Flush cleaning solution with clean water.
    7. All removed parts can be washed and sanitized by hand in a sink or soaked if desired.
