Pairing One Speaker with a Bluetooth Device:
STEP 1. Turn on the speaker by pressing the power button on the back of
the speaker.
STEP 2. A tone will sound and the Bluetooth indicator light will quickly
flash blue. Now the speaker is in discovery mode and is ready to be paired
with a new device.
STEP 3. Go to Bluetooth settings on your phone or device and pair with
“Homewell Speaker” . When the speaker is successfully paired, a sound will
chime and Bluetooth indicator will have a steady blue light.
STEP 4. Play your favorite music and enjoy.
NOTE: If you would like to pair the speaker to a different device, you
must unpair the speaker from the currently paired device first if that device
is still in connection distance.
NOTE: These Homewell Speakers are capable of pairing up to 2 speakers at
once. See below for special instructions.
NOTE: The maximum pairing distance between the speaker( s) and your
Bluetooth- enabled device is about 3 0 feet.
NOTE: Even if Bluetooth device is disconnected the speaker( s) will
continue to be on until manually turned off with the power button.
Pairing Two Speakers with a Bluetooth Device:
You will need to pair the two speakers to each other then connect the main
Homewell Speaker to your device.
STEP 1. Turn on the speakers by pressing the power button on the back of
the speakers.
STEP 2. A tone will sound from each speaker and the Bluetooth indicator
lights will quickly flash blue. Now the speakers are in discovery mode and are
ready to be paired to each other.
STEP 3. Double press the “Paring” Button on the back of one of the
speakers and a chime will sound. The main speaker will now flash blue and the
secondary speaker will have a steady blue light.
STEP 4. Go to Bluetooth settings on your phone or device and pair with
“Homewell Speaker” . When successfully paired, a sound will chime and the
Bluetooth indicator will have a steady blue light on one speaker and a
flashing light on the other.
STEP 5. Play your favorite music and enjoy both speakers at the same
time.
NOTE: Both speakers must be Homewell Speakers to be able to be paired to
each other.
NOTE: Before pairing both speakers, make sure neither of them are
connected to any Bluetooth device. ( If already connected, select ” Homewell
Speaker, ” and unpair)
NOTE: Once speakers are paired to each other, speakers will look for each
other automatically at each start up. Wait for the chime sound before playing
your favorite music.
NOTE: The speakers have a maximum pairing distance of 3 0 ft. Make sure
speakers and Bluetooth device are within this range while pairing and
listening to music.
Battery Charging
Charging the speaker with USB Cable
Plug the small end of the Micro USB Charging Cable into the Micro USB port on
the back of the speaker. Connect the larger end of the Micro USB Charging
Cable into your computer or other USB charging device. Recommended charge
time with USB cable is about 5- 6 hours. When the speaker is charging, the
charging indicator light will light up RED, when it is fully charged the
charging indicator will turn GREEN. Remove the Micro USB Charging Cable from
the speaker after charging is completed.
Charging the speaker with the solar panel
Allow the solar speaker to receive full days of sunlight to fully charge the
battery prior to first use. Place the solar speaker in a spot that will
receive the maximum amount of sunlight during the day. Position the solar
panel of the speaker to receive at least 3- 4 hours of direct sunlight.
NOTE: The solar panel should be cleaned periodically with a damp cloth to
help maintain optimum performance. Do not use any cleaners with chemicals,
solvents, or harsh abrasives .
NOTE: Charge times may vary depending on solar conditions.
Battery Replacing
If you notice the battery performance is significantly reduced you have the
option to replace it. Unscrew the cover from the control box on the back of
the speaker and remove the battery. Replace with a new standard 18 6 5 0
Lithium ion,
2 000 mash 3.7 V rechargeable battery. Screw the cover back on with all six
screws.
NOTE: Dispose of the old battery in accordance with local, state, and
federal regulations.
NOTE: When storing the unit for an extended period of time you may remove
the battery to extend it’ s life.
NOTE: In order to preserve battery life, we recommend bringing the
speaker inside your home during the winter. Temperatures below- 4 ° F ( 2 0℃ )
will reduce the battery life.
ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
WHAT IS COVERED
The manufacturer warrants this product to be free of defects in material and
workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty
only applies to the original consumer purchaser and only to products used in
normal use and service. The manufacturer’s only obligation and your exclusive
remedy, is the repair or replacement of the product at the manufacturer’s
discretion provided that the product has not been damaged through misuse,
abuse,
accident, modification, alternation, neglect, or mishandling. Proof of
purchase must accompany all warranty claims.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty does not apply to products that are found to have been
improperly installed, set-up, or used in any way not in accordance with the
instruction supplied with product. This warranty does not apply to a failure
of the products as a result of an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence,
alternation, or faulty installation. Batteries supplied with this product are
not included in this warranty. This warranty shall not apply to the finish on
any portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is
considered normal wear and tear. The manufacturer does not warranty and
specially disclaims any warranty, whether express or implied, of fitness for a
particular purpose, other than the warranty contained herein. This warranty
does not cover consequential or incidental loss or damage, including but not
limited to any labor/expense costs involved in the replacement or repair of
the product.
