Frequently Asked Questions
How loud/how many watts?
Anyone who says that watts are a worthless spec, or doesn't tell you how loud a speaker is without other specs is incorrect.
Can i connect it with shure microphone by xvive u3 xlr wireless?
I have used it and u3 with a Shure sm58 with excellent results.
Does this comes with a cover?
The S1 Pro does not come with a cover.
Can you hook a sub woofer up to the speaker?
Yes you can! Any subwoofer, although Bose will have you think otherwise. I use a Behringer B1200D ($299) and then go from that to my S1 Pro (pole mounted on top of the sub) for a great full range speaker system.
Does this unit have a port for an iPod plug in?
There is no USB port, but there is 3.5 mm jack to connect to your IPod and bluetooth.
How many watts S1 Pro speaker?
Can you pair your iPhone and TV as the same time?
It can take multiple devices at once.
Can you play pandora through your S1 Pro?
I play Apple music through it, I haven’t tried Pandora however I would think you could, of course you’ll have to have a pandora account set up. This thing is a beast, I love it and highly recommend it.. And I got the tripod as well and glad I did.
Will a yamaha mg10xu mixer work with this Bose s1 speaker?
Yes, you can connect most third-party mixers (like the Yamaha MG10XU) to the S1 Pro channel 1 and channel 2 inputs.
Can you pair your iphone to 2 of this to make it stereo?
Yes, you can have 2 Bose s-1 speakers through the Boss app to have them play in stereo mode. Exception: for now the new iPhone 14 pro max hasn’t given licensed approval to Bose app to play stereo.
How long does it run on the battery?
I've been able to cover four-hour gigs with plenty of battery power left.
