USING YOUR RAZER KRAKEN

USING THE RETRACTABLE MIC
Pull the tip of the mic until it is fully extended.

Bend the mic until it is parallel to your mouth, then adjust the length as preferred. Make sure the mic diaphragm is in front and the air vent is facing away from your mouth.

USING THE VOLUME CONTROL
Rotate the volume wheel on the in-line control to increase or decrease the volume.

USING THE MIC MUTE
Slide the mic mute toggle to mute or unmute the mic.

USING THE AUDIO / MIC SPLITTER EXTENSION CABLE
The audio/mic splitter extension cable that comes with the package is designed for use with computers equipped with separate audio output and microphone input jacks.

EXTENDING YOUR HEADSET’S LIFESPAN
We recommend stretching the headset gently apart before placing them over your head to minimize headband stress. However, please avoid overstretching the headset beyond its technical limits.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

• In order to achieve maximum safety while using your Razer Kraken, we suggest that you adopt the following guidelines:
• Should you have trouble operating the device properly and troubleshooting does not work, unplug the device and contact the Razer hotline or go to support.razer.com for assistance.
• Do not take apart the device (doing so will void your warranty) and do not attempt to operate it under abnormal current loads.
• Keep the device away from liquid, humidity, or moisture. Operate the device only within the specific temperature range of 0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F). Should the temperature exceed this range, unplug and/or switch off the device in order to let the temperature stabilize to an optimal level.
• The device isolates external ambient sounds even at low volumes, resulting in lowered awareness of your external surroundings. Please remove the device when engaging in any activities that require active awareness of your surroundings.
• Listening to excessively loud volumes over extended periods of time can damage your hearing. Furthermore, legislation of certain countries permits a maximum sound level of 86db to affect your hearing for 8 hours a day. We, therefore, recommend that you reduce the volume to a comfortable level when listening for prolonged periods of time. Please, take good care of your hearing.

MAINTENANCE AND USE
The Razer Kraken requires minimum maintenance to keep it in optimum condition. Once a month we recommend you unplug the device from the computer and clean it using a soft cloth or cotton swab with a bit of warm water to prevent dirt buildup. Do not use soap or harsh cleaning agents.

Will these fit Mega minds head ?

Yes, the headband expands.

Is the headset cable a combo jack or two separate headphone and microphone jacks?

A combo 3.5 mm jack is attached to the Razer Kraken. An extension splitter cable is also included, which provides full audio and mic access for platforms requiring separate audio input and mic input ports.

Can I use these for ps4 and Xbox one s?

Yes, Razer Kraken will plug into the 3.5mm headphone jack on the PS4 controller and Xbox One S controller.

Can i switchout the 3.5mm cable for a shorter one or no?

No, the cable is secured to the headset internally.

Does it light up?

Yes, it lights up! When you plug it in, you will need to download software for it in order for the headphones to light up.

Is this headset good for Skype/zoom meetings?

Yes, it works pretty well. Although the headset has a single aux output it works for both audio and mic.

What size is the head band? Will it fit a small head?

It works great on my 5-year-old and on this old man's head.

Could I use these with my Astro mix amp?

I have no idea, for I don’t know what an Astro mix amp is.

Is this headset usb? Coz i see different answers and am confused now

This Kraken headset uses an analog 3.5 mm connection, not USB.

Can you hear only one side?

No this is a 5.1 surround sound set. Both ears can hear.
