Product Information: in-lite HYVE 22
The in-lite HYVE 22 is an outdoor light fixture made of impact-resistant polycarbonate and filled with a 2-component resin. It is equipped with a high- quality LED lamp that has a long life, high light output, and low power consumption and heat production. This fixture is suitable for highlighting paths, drives, patios, pond edges, etc. It can be installed in various types of paving, such as concrete or natural stone, or wooden constructions such as decks, walls, fences, pond edges, etc.
Important : This product should only be used within the in-lite system and never connected directly to a 100-240 V power source. It is only suitable for use in combination with a 12 V low-voltage system. Use of products other than those made by in-lite will invalidate the warranty.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before installing the HYVE 22, read the installation instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place.
- To install the fixture on 12V, guide the connector of the fixture through the hole and place it carefully in the recess using a clean plastic hammer.
- Connect the Easy-Lock connector to the main cable by clamping the cable duct on top of the main cable, placing the duct (with the cable at the bottom) into the Easy-Lock connector, and screwing the threaded cap onto the Easy-Lock connector.
- Connect the power cable to the fixture by attaching the mini-connector to the fixture.
- If the lamp does not function correctly, check whether the EasyLock connector is correctly connected to the main cable and if the contacts of the Easy-Lock connector are not bent during the of the fixture to the main cable. If you can’t resolve the issue, contact your dealer.
- For general maintenance, we recommend wiping the fixture with a clean cloth and warm water at least once a year.

Lamp

are extremely low.
Important!
Never connect the low-voltage cable directly to a 100-240 V power source. It
is only suitable for use in combination with a 12 V low-voltage system. This
product should only be used within the in-lite system. Use of products other
than those made by in-lite will invalidate the warranty.

Connecting the fixture to 12 V
- The already installed lamp means the fixture is immediately ready for use. Therefore you do not need to install the lamp first.
- This fixture can be built into various sorts of decorative paving, such as concrete or natural stone, or wooden constructions such as decking, walls, fences, pond edges etc.
General Installation Guideline
During installation, make sure that all components are easily accessible for replacement.
Step 1
For installation in wood use a suitable saw/drill to saw/drill holes with a
diameter of 22 mm / 0.87 inches. If working with stone or similar materials,
use a diamond drill bit (Ø 22,4 mm / 0.88 inches), available from your dealer.
Drill holes where appropriate before beginning to fit the fixture. (Fig. 1)
Step 2
Feed the connector for the fixture through the hole and then carefully insert
the fixture into the recess. Use a clean synthetic hammer to do this. (Fig. 2)
Step 3
Join the Easy-Lock connector to the main cable. (Fig. 3)
- a. Clamp the cable duct on top of the main cable.
- b. Place the cable duct (with the cable at the bottom) in the EasyLock connector.
- c. Tighten the threaded cap on the Easy-Lock connector. This will cause the contacts to be pushed through the insulation on the cable. In tightening the cap, a little gel is applied to the contacts in the Easy-Lock connector. This serves to protect the contacts against moisture. A little gel may possibly come out of the EasyLock connector: so after installation (and/or before a meal), wash your hands with soap and water, and avoid the gel coming into contact with your eyes.
Step 4
Connect the power cable to the fixture by connecting the miniconnector. (Fig.
4)
If the lamp does not work correctly, check that the Easy-Lock connector is properly connected to the main cable. Do the same for the miniconnector. Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5. When the fixture is connected to the main cable also check that the contacts of the Easy-Lock connector are not bent. If you have any problems, contact your dealer.
General maintenance advice
We advise wiping the fixture down at least once a year using a clean cloth and
warm water.
