Adjust the intensity of the effect to your preference or turn it off completely using the Haptic effect control dial located on the lower right ear cup of the headset.
CORSAIR iCUE
Go to corsair.com/support/downloads to download the CORSAIR iCUE software. Using iCUE software will enable the full feature set of the HS60 HAPTIC headset
Note: If the headset is used without software, some features will be disabled.
Install the iCUE software on a PC running Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 or later. After installation is complete, reboot your PC, and launch iCUE.
iCUE software can be used to
Select and customize audio equalizer (EQ) settings. Adjust microphone input
volume and microphone sidetone The software’s built-in documentation explains
how to use the HS60 HAPTIC’s features in greater detail.
GENERAL TIPS
Don’t be afraid to use the software equalizer to adjust the audio quality to your liking. EQ presets have been provided for popular gaming and media types. Prolonged listening at high volumes may adversely affect your hearing. Take breaks between sessions and always begin with the volume at the lowest possible level before increasing.
VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
As with any audio product, reduce the volume before trying it with an audio source the first time You can adjust the volume with: The volume controller on the headset at the bottom corner of your left ear cup. The standard Windows audio controller can also be used to adjust volume
MICROPHONE ADJUSTMENT
Your new HS60 HAPTIC headset features a high-performance “unidirectional” microphone designed to reject noise other than your voice, but it must be pointed directly at your mouth to function correctly. Bend the flexible microphone boom to best fit near to the left corner of your mouth.
We’ve found that about a 30 degree bend is a good place to start, but feel free to increase or decrease this if your mic is too loud or too soft.
Enjoy your HS60 HAPTIC headset! If you have any questions or comments, see the back panel of this guide for contact information.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why doesn’t the sidetone controls appear on the icue software like corsairbrian said in a september 11, 2020 response?
I suggest making sure you’re on the latest version of iCUE and that the headset’s firmware is up-to-date.
Can these be used as just audio from a TV or iMac plug in?
Yes I’ve used these with my iPad to watch a movie so don’t see why it wouldn’t work on your Mac or tv
Is the hs60 7.1 surround on ps4?
Using it on a PC gaming desktop and sounds great! Can’t comment on PS4.
Does iCUE’s sidetone feature work with this headset, if so, is the delay short enough that it doesn’t sound unnatural?
Yes, iCUE’s sidetone feature works with the HS60 Pro. Please do note the sidetone feature is only accessible in iCUE software (via USB connection). There isn’t any delay in the sidetone’s responsiveness.
batteries issues? mine after 1.5 years started to decrease dramatically battery life, no more than 1 hour now, great headset but this totally a bummer
If there are batteries needed for this headset, I’m unaware of them. I unboxed it and just plugged it straight into a USB port on my computer and it’s been working fine.
Anyone familiar with how to clean the ear pads without damaging them?
I know they have replacement pads you can buy….If you want to clean them, I’d use a lightly damp cloth to wipe them and let them fully dry before use.
Will this work for acutally hearing people on PC?
I have went through 3 different headsets not this one.
Yes it works great with games that use voice chat. I also use it for
discord/streaming/zoom calls. Zoom call everyday for hours and these are
amazing. The button on the headset for muting yourself is a plus if you dont
want to go back and forth turning the mic off.
Im trying to use this for playing pubg mobile on a smart tv …will all functions work?
If you’re trying to hook this up to a cell phone or tablet you probably want the bluetooth version. This is the wired one and is going to be a bit of a wire issue.
Does this come with the 3.5mm connector?
No
Are the earpads replaceable?
The headphone are great , the 7.1 does sounds good but they are not real. There was a problem with the usb every hour the usb got disconnected with no reason and I had to unplug and plug it back , sofar this was happening but don’t know the reason , after a few weeks after I change my pc position that stopped.
Do they come w a a computer adapter for use of sound and mic?
Yes, the mic is detachable at the base of the headset.
Does it work with the ps5?
If the ps5 controller has a 3.5mm jack yes
Is the mic bendable on the pro?
Yes, the microphone arm is flexible.
Does it work if you plug the usb straight into the xbox console?
I use the headphone (my son actually) with a PC. Conected to the PC or either the telephone only one ear is mute. Very disappointing gift for my son. Obiously the headphone arrived with some sort of problem. Thanks for your concern anyways.
