APEX WAVES VB-8054 NI VirtualBench All In One Instrument
Product Information
The VB-8054 is an all-in-one instrument from NI VirtualBenchTM that provides a complete solution for prototyping, validation, and testing of electronic circuits. It includes an oscilloscope, function generator, digital multimeter, programmable DC power supply, and digital I/O in one compact device. It also comes with accessories such as oscilloscope probe kits, DMM probes, antenna, screwdriver, and logic analyzer flying leads.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before installing the device, read all product documentation to ensure compliance with safety, EMC, and environmental regulations.
- Connect the power cable and antenna to the VirtualBench.
- Install and open the VirtualBench app on your iPad.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to start using the VirtualBench.

Assembly
Connect the power cable. Then connect the Virtual Bench to a USB port on your computer.
Navigate to Computer (or This PC) and double-click NI VirtualBench. Run
VirtualBenchLauncher.exe.
Note: If Windows AutoPlay is enabled, the VirtualBench application
automatically runs.
Attach the hook tip and ground lead to the oscilloscope probe. Then connect the probe to CH 1.
Connect the probe hook tip to the tab and the ground lead to the tab.
Click Auto to configure the oscilloscope for visualizing the 5 V, 1 kHz square wave generated the probe compensation tabs.
Using the iPad App
Connect the power cable and antenna to the VirtualBench. Install and open the app, then follow the on-screen instructions.
