WILSONPRO 910055 Cellular Network Scanner Installation Guide
Why Use a Cellular Network Scanner
Reliable cellular network service, from major providers such as Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T, has become essential to daily life. Prior to purchasing or leasing a property, the in-building and outdoor cellular signal strength and quality for all major cellular networks, should be assessed using the Cellular Network Scanner, from WilsonPro.
Features
- Pairs with any Blutooth-enabled iOS (v10.0 or later) or Android (v5.0 or later) device using the free CellLinq App.
- Reports detected LTE cell signal strength (RSRP) and quality (RSRQ) for the 5 major cell bands: Band 4 (2.1GHz), Band 5 (850MHz), Band 12 (Lower 700MHz), Band 12 (Upper 700MHz), and Band 25 (1900MHz).
- Identifies all available signals from major cellular network service providers Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T EVEN IF YOUR CONNECTED ANDROID OR iOS DEVICE IS NOT SUBRCRIBED TO THOSE NETWORKS.
- Cell Tower Mapping, showing approximate location of carrier cell tower.
- Fast Scan Time: complete scan in under four minutes.
- Easy Project Management: Organize projects, save and retrieve scans online.

Initial Scan
Press the Start Scan button within the app.
The will rotate while the scanner gathers Cell Id Data. Keep your iOS or
Android device within 8′ of the scanner at all times. For consistent results,
leave the scanner on a flat, stationary surface, while scanning is in
progress, and stand at least 4 feet away from the scanner, so as not to
interfere with received cellular signals. A complete scan can take up to four
minutes.
Scan Results
Scan results will be displayed from carriers by cellular signal strength
(RSRP) and quality (RSRQ).
Note: RSRQ is the most important metric in predicting a reliable cell
signal.
RSRQ TABLE
EXCELLENT Green| > = -6 dBm
GOOD Yellow| < -6 dBm to > = -9 dBm
FAIR Orange| < -9 dBm to > = -12 dBm
POOR Red| < -12 dBm
Scan Details
Signal information displays by Quality, Strength, DL Frequency, Band, plus
additional network information.
Map View

Approximate cell tower pin locations are acquired from an open source database
by OpenCelliD. This database is comprised of community sourced data that is
used to triangulate cell locations.
