CIPHERLAB WR30 Wearable Ring Scanner
Product Information
The product is a wireless device that contains transmitters and receivers emitting Radio Frequency (RF) energy. It complies with the limits for exposure to RF energy set by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the United States, Industry Canada (IC) of Canada, and the regulating entities of other countries. This device has been evaluated and shown compliant with the IC RF Exposure limits under mobile exposure conditions. The radiated output power of the Wireless Device is below the Industry Canada (IC) radio frequency exposure limits.
Product Usage Instructions
- Do not make any changes or modifications to the device that are not expressly approved by the grantee. Doing so could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
- Ensure that the device is used in such a manner that the potential for human contact during normal operation is minimized.
- Operation of this device is subject to the following two conditions:
- This device may not cause harmful interference.
- This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Exploded View
Install And Remove the Battery
Install the Battery
- Step 1: Slide the battery all the way into the locking slot of the WR30.
- Step 2: Firmly press the battery into the WR30 until a click is heard, ensuring the battery release latch is fully engaged with the WR30.
Remove the Battery
- Step 1: Push the battery release latch down to release the battery.
- Step 2: Slide the battery out of the battery compartment to remove it.
_ Note: _Remove the battery with simultaneously power off the WR30.
Bluetooth Connection
Method 1: NFC Tap-to-Pair
- The WR30 is NFC enabled and supports Bluetooth Tap-to-Pair.
To connect with a device: (Take R$36 as an example)
- Check that NFC is enabled on the device.
- Press the trigger key for 2 seconds to power on the WR30. The status LED blinks blue indicating that the WR30 is attempting to establish connection with the device.
- Align the NFC detection area on the WR30 with the NFC detection area on the device. When the connection is established, the WR30 emits a string of beeps.
Method 2: Scan the Pairing Barcode
- Download and launch the App “IntelliWorker” on the device.
- On the “Device” page, tap on “Pair your device*.
- Press the trigger key for 2 seconds to power on the WR30. The status LED blinks blue indicating that the WR30 is attempting to establish connection with the device.
- Press the trigger key to scan the barcode generated by “IntelliWorker”. When the connection is established, the WR30 emits a string of beeps.

Trigger Options
- The WR30 Ring Trigger is designed to be worn like a ring for ambidextrous use.
- The ergonomic design makes heavy scanning work light.
- Attach the groove located beneath the scan window to the tongue on the Ring Trigger.
- Firmly press down the main core of the WR30 until a click is heard.Firmly press down the main core of the WR30 until a click is heard.

Detachable Trigger
- The WR30 with Thumb Scan Trigger is designed for handheld scanning.
- Standalone design with USB- C port for charging and firmware upgrade.
- Insert the tongue located beneath the trigger button into the groove on top of the scan window.
- Firmly press down the Detachable Trigger until a click is heard.

Ambidextrous Hand Mount Strap with Trigger
- The WR30 Ambidextrous Hand Mount Strap with Trigger is a one-size-fits-all.
- Can be worn without gloves or over certain types of gloves.
- Attach the groove located beneath the scan window to the tongue on the Hand Mount Strap.
- Firmly press down the main core of the WR30 until a click is heard.

Charging & Communication
- Step 1: Attach the USB Type-C Charger to the main core of the WR30
- Step 2: Insert a Type-C cable into the port on the USB Type-C Charger, and connect the USB-A plug to either an approved adapter for the external power connection or to a PC/laptop for charging or firmware upgrade.
- Insert the tongue located beneath the USB-C port of the Charger into the groove on top of the scan window
- Firmly press down the Charger until a click is heard.
