Product Information

The DustlessVac Model D1606 is a Wet+Dry vacuum that comes with a 16-gallon HEPA filter. It is designed to help you save time and money in clean up, while complying with OSHA Silica Rule and EPA RRP standards. The vacuum is equipped with a HEPA filter cover, two WunderBag micro pre-filters, an extension wand, a crevice tool, a floor tool, and a 1.5 x 12′ crush-resistant hose. The DustlessVac is assembled from US and imported parts and is designed in the US.

The vacuum comes in two sizes – 5 and 7. There are also three sizes of extension wands available – 1 3/8, 4, and 8. Additionally, the DustBuddie is available for 7-1/4 worm drive circular saws.

Product Usage Instructions

Attach the appropriate extension wand to the hose.
Choose the appropriate tool (crevice or floor tool) based on the cleaning task at hand.
Begin vacuuming the desired surface or area.
If using the vacuum for OSHA Silica Rule compliance, ensure that the dust collection shroud is attached to the worker’s tool.
Ensure that the HEPA filter is installed properly and securely in the vacuum.
If using the vacuum for OSHA Silica Rule compliance, ensure that the filter cleaning mechanism is functioning properly.
When finished cleaning, turn off the vacuum and disconnect the hose and tools from the extension wand.
Empty the contents of the vacuum canister into an appropriate waste disposal container.
Store the vacuum and its accessories in a safe, dry location.

OSHA’s HEPA Requirements
OSHA requires a High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) vacuum for housekeeping and vacuuming drill holes. It is advised that each construction crew has at least one HEPA vacuum on site, such as the HEPA Wet+Dry DustlessVac (D1606).
