Product Information

The C704A4, C704A4-4xAA, and C704A4-4xAAA Battery Charger is designed to charge AA and AAA batteries. The charger has an LCD screen that displays a “CHG” message to confirm that the batteries are being charged. The charger also has a USB port for connecting to a power source.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Check the battery surface quality before inserting batteries into the charger. Batteries should not have any corrosion, scratches, cracks, deformities, or water damage on the surface. The brand and label should be level with the surface, the writing and print should be clear and legible.
  2. Insert the batteries into the charger with the correct polarity. Otherwise, the batteries will not charge. If you insert alkaline, carbon, or other incompatible batteries, an “ERR” message will appear on the screen, and charging will be stopped.
  3. Connect the USB cable to the charger and the USB power adapter.
  4. The LCD screen will turn on and display a “CHG” message, confirming that the batteries are being charged.
  5. The screen will remain on until the batteries are removed.
  6. After charging is complete, disconnect the charger from the power source by disconnecting the USB cable.
  7. Remove the batteries from the charger.

Warning instructions

  1. Only charge rechargeable batteries (Ni-Cd or Ni-MH). Other battery types might leak, rupture, or explode. Risk of personal injury or damage to your products.
  2. Do not disassemble the charger. Incorrect reassembly may result in risk of electric shock or fire.
  3. For indoor use only.
  4. Do not expose to rain, snow, or excessive moisture. Risk of electrical shock. Use in dry locations only.
  5. Always unplug the charger from the USB power source before maintenance or cleaning.
  6. Do not use this charger a power source for any electrical equipment. It is intended for charging rechargeable batteries only.
  7. Children or infirm persons should be supervised when using this charger.
  8. For optimal charging, make sure the room is well ventilated.
  9. Batteries may become hot to touch while charging.
  10. When you stop charging, also remove it from power by disconnecting the USB cable.
  11. Battery warning instruction: Charge only with standard battery chargers. Do not open battery, dispose of in fire, put in backwards, mix with used or other battery types or short circuit – may ignite, explode, leak, or get hot causing injury to persons or damage to products.

Usage

  1. Insert the batteries polarities correctly. Otherwise, the charger will not charge the batteries. If you insert alkaline or carbon or other incompatible batteries, the screen will display “ERR” and stop charging.
  2. Connect a USB cable to the charger and to a USB power adapter.
  3. The LCD screen will turn on. It will display “CHG” to confirm it is charging batteries.
  4. The screen will remain on until the batteries are removed.
  5. When you stop charging, remove it from power by disconnecting the USB cable.
  6. Remove the batteries from charger.

Cleaning and maintenance
Clean with a dry cloth. For tougher stains you can use a mild detergent and damp cloth and wipe off with a dry cloth. However there might be some moisture left, so let it dry for at least 48 hours.
