Safety instructions

Read and save this manual for future reference.

Only for household use. Not for commercial use.

Do not use this product outdoors. Keep it away from heat sources, direct sunlight, humidity, liquids, and physical damage. Do not use with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it from mains immediately.

Before cleaning, storage or if the product will not be used for a longer period of time, power the product off. When disconnecting from power always pull the plug from the power outlet, do not pull the cable.

The product and power cable must be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found, you must stop using the product.

Keep all packaging out of reach of children. Do not let children play with the plastic foil. Risk of suffocation!

Do not leave this product unattended for hours at a time. Do not leave your home while the product is operating.

Never put your fingers or other objects through the fan’s protection grille.

Please note that long hairs can be caught in the fan.

The product must be fully assembled before use.

The fan must be placed on a stable surface to prevent accidental tipping.

Do not use the product in areas or rooms where gasoline, paints or inflammable liquids are used or stored.

The fan must only be used in upright position.

Do not place or use the product near stoves or other heat sources.

Do not attempt to repair the product or the power cable. Instead contact an authorized technician, for example a company that specializes in fan repairs.

This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Children shall not play with this product.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

CAUTION : Do not immerse the appliance into water for cleaning. It might result in an electric shock or fire.

Always remove the mains power plug before cleaning the product.
Battery safety -
Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

Keep batteries away and out of reach of children!

Do not disassemble batteries!

Insert batteries correctly, by observing the polarity marking!

Do not expose batteries to intense heat, such as sunlight, fire or other heat source. Risk of explosion.

Do not short circuit the batteries. Risk of explosion.

Do not mix batteries of different types or new and used batteries.

Batteries can leak battery acid. If the remote control will not be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries.

In case of leaked battery acid. Do not to rub the liquid into your eyes or mucous membranes. In case of contact with battery acid, wash your hands and rinse your eyes with clean water. Seek medical attention if any discomfort persists.

Do not dispose of batteries as regular household waste. Instead follow local regulations for disposing batteries. There should be dedicated battery collection bins.

Unpacking
- Place a blanket where you intend unpack product. To prevent damage to the product’s exterior.
- Lift the product out from the package. Make sure you get all parts and this manual.
- Remove all packaging material.
Assembly
- Place the fan with the open side facing upwards.
- Insert the cable through the hole of the base plate so that the plug is on the underside of the base plate.
- Remove the nut from the underneath the base.
- Mount the base plate. The base plate can only be mounted in one position.
- Place the cable into the recess on the base plate.
- Fasten the base place by screwing the nut.
- Turn the fan over and place it on a flat and solid surface.
Remote control
Batteries are not included.
- Remove the remote control from the compartment.
- Open the battery compartment on the remote control.
- Insert 2 x AAA batteries. Ensure correct polarity. Markings can be found in the battery compartment.
- Close the battery compartment.
Connect
- Make sure that power outlet has matching voltage to this product. (220-240V, 50Hz)
- Connect the power cable to a power outlet. You will hear a sound and the symbols on the display will light up briefly. The Wi-Fi LED indicator will flash.
Note : The fan can only be used with 2.4 GHz. 5 GHz is not supported.
App installation
During setup the fan has a limited Wi-Fi range. It might help to place it
within 5 meters of your router.
- Download and install the app “Deltaco smart home” from Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile device.
- Launch the app “Deltaco smart home“.
- Create a new account or log in to your existing account.
- Tap “+” to add the device.
- Choose category and then the type of product from the list.
- Connect the device to power.
- If the Wi-Fi LED does not flash: Reset the device. You might have to activate Wi-fi by holding the speed button for 2 seconds. If the status indicator flashes: Confirm in the app.
- Confirm the Wi-Fi network and password.
- Enter the device name
The device name will be used by Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Reset Wi-Fi
1. To reset press and hold down the on/off button for about 2 seconds. The Wi-Fi LED will flash quickly. Wi-Fi
1. To activate or to deactivate Wi-Fi press and hold the speed button for about 2 seconds. The Wi-Fi LED will turn on or off.
Buttons
The buttons are touch keys. Gently touch the buttons with a finger to use
them.
= On/off = Power the fan on or off.
= speed = 6 speed settings, press to change speed. Default speed is 3.
= Swing/OSC = Press to activate or deactivate oscillation, the fan will turn left and right.
= Mode = Fan modes: 1 press: nature mode changes fan speed randomly, 2 presses: sleep mode lowers fan speed gradually over time. 3 presses: normal mode, which also is default mode.
= Timer = Press to activate a timer. There are 2 types of timers. Switch-on and Switch-off. If the product is turned off it will activate a Switch-on timer. If the product is turned on it will activate a Switch-off timer. Timer range is between 1 to 9 hours. If a switch-on timer has been set it will turn on after the timer has expired.
If a switch-off timer has been set it will turn off after the timer has expired.
Cleaning and maintenance
Before cleaning, switch the device off and disconnect the product from the
mains. Never clean this product when it is connected to power! Use a soft dry
cloth to clean the product.
For tougher stains you can use a moistened cloth with a mild detergent. Wipe off with a dry cloth and let the fan dry before using it again. Keep the fan grille free from dust.
Do not use abrasive cleaning products or polishing cleaning products to clean. They can damage the surface of the fan. Before storage we recommend that you clean it first.
For storing the product, we recommend using the original carton. Store in a cool and dry place protected from dust.
Troubleshooting
Problem A: Appliance does not work.
Cause A1 : The appliance has no power supply.
Solution A1 : Test the power outlet with another appliance. Reconnect the
power cable. Check the main circuit breaker.
Cause A2 : The appliance is faulty.
Solution A2 : Consider contacting our support or the retailer or a
company specializing in fan repair.
Problem B : Wi-Fi does not function.
Cause B1 : Wi-Fi LED does not flash or light up. The Wi-Fi function has
been switched off.
Solution B1 : Try to reset the Wi-fi on the fan or reconnect the Wi-fi.
The fan might need to be disconnected from the mains power for a few minutes.
Cause B2 : Wi-Fi LED will flash quickly. The appliance is not connected
to a smartphone.
Solution B2 : Try to connect the fan via the app.
Cause B3 : The distance to the router is to far.
Solution B3 : Place the appliance closer to the router.
Cause B4 : Can’t connect to network.
Solution B4: Only 2.4 GHz is supported. 5 GHz is not supported

Battery disposal
Remove the batteries from the remote control before disposing the fan. Do not
dispose of batteries as regular household waste. Instead follow local
regulations for disposing batteries.
Disposal of the packaging
The carton can be used for storing or moving the product. Dispose of the
packing material by recycling it, according to your local regulations.
