RIDING RANGE
WM hoverboard can travel a distance up to 8KM/4.97Miles on a fully charged battery in ideal condition. Some factors below will affect the riding range of your hoverboard:
- Rider’s weight
- Terrain
- Battery level
- Speed and acceleration
- Frequency of stops and starts
- Driving Surface: Riding distance is highest when riding on a smooth, flat surface. Riding uphill and/or on rough terrain will reduce distance.
- Weight: More weight means less distance.
- Temperature: Ride and store your WM hoverboard under recommended temperatures. It will increase distance, battery life, and overall performance.
- Speed and riding style: Maintaining a moderate and consistent speed prolongs distance. Frequent start and stop will decrease overall distance.
BALANCE AND CALIBRATION
If your hoverboard is unbalanced, vibrating, or not turning properly, you can follow below steps to calibrate it.
- Place the hoverboard on a flat, horizontal surface such as the floor or a table. The foot mats should be even with each other and not tilted forward or backward.
- Make sure the charger is not plugged in and the hoverboard is turned off.
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button for a total of 8-10 seconds. The Hoverboard will turn on, lighting the battery indicator on the board.
- After you hear continuous BEEP, you may release the ON/OFF button.

RIDING STEPS
For beginners, it might be difficult and nervous just to get comfortable using the hoverboard. Having a spotter on the side will help you feel more secure and help you balance yourself during initial trials.
-
Power ON the hoverboard by pressing the power button, make sure the battery status indicator is ON.
-
Getting on the hoverboard:
Stand behind your hoverboard and place one foot on the corresponding foot mat. Keep your weight on the foot which is still on the ground, otherwise the hoverboard may begin to move or vibrate, making it difficult to step on evenly with your other foot. When you are ready, shift your weight to the foot already placed on the hoverboard and step on with your second foot quickly and evenly.
RELAX and step on quickly, confidently and evenly. Imagine climbing stairs, one foot, then the other. Look up once your feet are even. The hoverboard may vibrate or spin in one direction if weight and pressure are applied to only one foot mat. -
Moving:
Keep the hoverboard steady. Lean your body slightly forward or backward to move forward or backward.
Lean your body gently and in small increments. Leaning your body too much can affect driving safety. -
Turing the hoverboards:
Turn Left: Push down your RIGHT toes and gently shift your weight to the LEFT. Turn Right: Push down your LEFT toes and gently shift your weight to the RIGHT.
DO NOT turn during high speed and avoid riding across steep slopes. -
