Product Information
The Kylii Wall Box is an interactive indoor game that projects compatible interactive games on your wall. The box is composed of a lacquered aluminum box, a video projector, and a Mini PC with a sensor. It uses a 4500-lumens laser projection and is designed for indoor use only. The Kylii Wall Box works with infrared technology and is sensitive to infrared rays. It has a power consumption of 600 watts and weighs 25 kg. The box measures 194 mm x 558 mm x 508 mm, and the projection area is between 1600 mm and 2000 mm. The product comes with a set of screws and bolts, a remote control, and cables for power supply and connectivity.
Product Usage Instructions
- The Kylii Wall Box must be installed in a room with a minimum ceiling height of 2.5m, and the wall must be able to support the load of the box (25kg).
- The box must not be placed in a too-bright environment (glass roof, bay window, or spotlight above the projection area).
- The wall on which the image is projected must be light (white or gray) matte and without a pattern. The surface of the wall must be smooth, flat, and washable.
- Unscrew the side doors of the wall box. Then unbolt the inside of the box to divide it into 2 parts.
- The product comes with necessary equipment such as screwdrivers, electric drills/screwdrivers, percussion drills (perforator), drill bits, screws, bolts, plugs, a USB keyboard, USB extension cable (5.00m), and power tools (screwdriver tester).
- Connect the Kylii Wall Box to a 230-volt power supply and a female RJ45 cable with an internet connection on the top of the box.
- Avoid placing the equipment under a canopy, near a bay window, or in a bright environment.
- The Kylii Wall Box is not suitable for children under 3 years.
- The product is designed for four players.

The Kylii Wall box works with infrared technology. They are therefore sensitive to the infrared rays of the sun or any other source. Do not place equipment under a canopy or near a bay window. Do not place it under a hot light source or in front of a mirror.

Installation requirements

Installation requirements
Summary of prerequisites:
- The housing must be installed in a room with a minimum ceiling height of 2.5m. The wall must be able to support the load of the box (25kg).

Assembly instructions

Necessary material:
- Screwdriver and electric drill/screwdriver
- Percussion drill (perforator) & Drill bits
- Screws and bolts (plugs, screws, etc.) and power tools (screwdriver tester….)
- A USB keyboard
- USB extension cable 5,00 m
Installation steps to follow

Unscrew the side doors of the wall box. Then unbolt the inside of the box to divide it into 2 parts.

Fix the rear of the wall box to the wall and make sure that it is level.

After mounting the rear side of the box, reposition the front part and screw the two parts together.

Place the projector and the PC in the wall box. ( Please, make sure that the
projector is positioned in the right position, feet of the projector up) -
Fix the projector to the inside of the wall box using the 4 screws provided.

Connect the power supply, network cable (RJ45), HDMI cable, and RS232 cable from the projector to the PC

Close the side doors of the wall box and turn the power back on.
Important information
- Check that your power supply and network cable are working properly before installation. Always work with the power off when you are installing the equipment.
- For your safety, we recommend that you secure your working area if you are working in a public place.
- Be sure to adapt your screws and bolts to the type of wall to which the wall box is to be fixed.
Position of the video projector
Position the lens downwards and the projector’s feet towards the top of the
wall box. Then loosen the projector’s feet to press them against the internal
wall of the box and secure it.
Position of the wall box
Choose the location of your wall box by positioning it on the same plane as
the projection surface. It should also be centered horizontally in relation to
the desired projection area. Finally, the bottom of the box should be 2000mm
from the floor.
Equipment setup
Activation of your license: (if unlimited access to the catalog)
- Connect a USB keyboard to the USB port of the PC
- Press the ‘ENTER’ key on the keyboard

Internet connection
- Connect a USB keyboard to the USB port of the PC
- Press ‘ALT’ and ‘C’ together to open the configurator
- Use the right arrow on the keyboard to access the “NETWORK” menu
- For a wired connection, choose “LAN”
- Choose your connection type “AUTO” or “MANUAL”
- If you have chosen “MANUAL”, fill in the required fields
- Then select “QUIT” to close the configurator
Game selection
If you have chosen a game pack, they are already installed on your equipment
when you receive it. If you want to add more games, please contact our
customer service. If you have chosen a subscription, your equipment is
delivered with a selection of games from our catalog. To remove/add games,
change their order or duration, please refer to the Kylii Market User Guide
provided with your welcome mail.
Setting the playing area
- Connect a USB keyboard to the USB port of the PC
- Press ‘ALT’ and ‘C’ simultaneously to open the configurator
- Use the ‘ENTER’ key on the keyboard to access the ‘SETUP’ menu
Position of the sensor
- To adjust the position of the sensor, you need to screw/unscrew its bracket to ensure that the horizontal green line (located in the central frame of the screen) is positioned at the wall/floor junction. Also, make sure that this line is parallel to the projection wall.
- When the sensor is correctly positioned, press the ‘Right Arrow’ on the keyboard and then the “START” button (‘ENTER’ key)
- A countdown of 20 seconds starts, during this time, make sure that nothing enters the field of the sensor (object, person…)
- When the countdown is over, the central frame becomes black. It must remain completely black for at least 10 seconds /!\ If red dots appear randomly on this black frame, then the calibration is not successful. Press “BACK” and repeat the procedure.
- Then press the “CONTINUE” button to proceed to the calibration of the playing area.
Playing area calibration
Once the sensor is correctly set up, this play area calibration screen
appears.
Press the ‘V’ key on the keyboard to start the calibration process to declare
the 4 points of the playing area to the system, one by one.
Calibration of the 1st point (top left)
Press ‘ENTER’ and put the keyboard down to carry out the
following step: Touch the grey point at the top left of the trapeze to
turn it green.
Calibration of points 2, 3 and 4
Press ‘ENTER’ for each point and repeat the same manipulation as before for
the 3 remaining points.
In this order :
- bottom left
- top right
- bottom right
Playing area calibration (more)
- After the calibration of the 4th and last point, 12 points appear
- Press the line per line, from left to right beginning by the top left
- Each point must be green before pressing the next point
Playing area calibration (end)
- Once the calibration is done, it is possible to test the playing area. When you touch the wall (in the playing area) and the system detects it, the “TOUCH DETECTED” button (top left) will turn green and a white circle will appear at the position of your finger.
- If the touch accuracy is not good enough or the white circle does not appear near your finger, press the ‘ESC’ button to start again.
- If the accuracy is good, save your settings by pressing the ‘CTRL Left’ and ‘S’ keys simultaneously and exit the configurator by pressing the ‘Q’ key.
You can access the configurator at any time by pressing the ‘ALT’ and ‘C’ keys on your keyboard and then going to the “SETUP” menu. And once in the calibration menu, you can restart the calibration of the points by pressing the ‘ESC’ key.
Width of the playing area
- The default width of the playing area is 2000 mm
- If your wall surface is not large enough to display this projection width, it is possible via the configurator to crop the projection to 1600 mm (200 mm left / 200 mm right)
- To crop to the left, press the ‘CTRL Left’ and ‘Right Arrow ▶’ on the keyboard simultaneously
- To crop to the right, press the ‘CTRL Right’ and ‘Left Arrow ◀’ keys on the keyboard simultaneously
- To save, press the ‘Left CTRL’ and ‘S’ on the keyboard simultaneously
Instructions for use
Make sure to observe the following assembly instructions and operating
instructions before using and commissioning the equipment.
Equipment positioning
This equipment is intended for indoor use only for wall mounting. Do not place
near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or
amplifiers. Its operating temperature is from 5ºC to 35ºC. Do not place the
furniture in a confined space unless the space is sufficiently ventilated.
Using the game in an environment where the temperature varies greatly can
damage the equipment. Prevent the equipment from getting wet. To reduce the
risk of fire or shock, do not expose the equipment to rain or other types of
moisture. No obstacle or injurious element should be present near the
equipment. The wall has to be in a light, neutral color (For example white,
grey, or beige). The wall box must be fixed at 2m height (bottom of the wall
box)
Power supply
Check that your power outlet provides the type of power indicated in the
technical data. Do not use non-standard power sources, such as generators or
inverters, even if the voltage and frequency appear acceptable. Only use AC
power supplied by 2P + T connectors. Check that your outlet can handle the
current (in amperes) needed to power the equipment and any other device
powered on the same circuit. Put all the cables so that no one (or any animal)
can kick or pull on them.
Internet Connection
Internet access must be configured via an RJ45 cable to access the various
Kylii services (update, change of games …). It must be a permanent Internet
connection (no public wifi, wifi per session or LDAP connection, no proxy). If
you have a secure connection, make sure all the rights are open and take the
necessary steps to access, send and receive information and data from Kylii
Kids’ servers.
Equipment Maintenance
Regular inspection and cleaning are the basic principles; To clean the
equipment, use a soft, damp cloth: • Do not use abrasive pads, detergents,
scouring powders, solvents, or other liquid, or aerosol cleaners. Clean the
inside and outside regularly and take care to remove the dust present. To
avoid scratches, gently rub the lens of the Video Projector with a soft, lint-
free cloth. You can moisten the cloth with water or eyeglass cleaner but do
not spray liquid on your lens. Do not use glass cleaner or other chemical
detergents.
