What’s in the Box
NVR Introduction

Connection Diagram
1a. If you want to access the security camera system remotely, connect the LAN port to your router with an Ethernet cable.
1b. If you want to operate the security camera system in a closed environment, do not connect the LAN port to your router.
2. Connect the mouse to the USB port of the NVR.
3. Connect the NVR to the monitor with a VGA or HDMI cable.
NOTE:
There is no VGA cable included in the package.
4a. Connect the NVR to a power outlet and turn on power switch
4b. Connect the NVR to the 48V DC port on Nature’s Generator Powerhouse or Nature’s Generator Powerhouse Power Pod and turn on power switch. Do not use the AC ports on Nature’s Generator Powerhouse to save energy.
5. Connect PoE cameras to PoE ports on the NVR.

Step1: Scan the QR code to download smart life APP and click “Add
Device”.

NOTE:
- Make sure the NVR is powered on correctly and works properly.
- Auto search mode” requires all devices to work in the same WLAN.

When connect the camera system without Internet, you can preview, playback or
change settings on monitor by using the mouse.
Use the smart life APP to scan the code on the website: https://ipc-
us.ismartlife.me/login.
(It is suggested to use Google Chrome browser)
After connecting the NVR to smart life APP successfully, use the APP to scan
the code on the website to log into your account.
Troubleshooting

No Video Output on the Monitor
If there’s no video output on the monitor from Nature’s Generator NVR, please try the following solutions:
• TV/ monitor resolution should be at least 720p or above.
• Make sure your NVR is powered on.
• Double check the HDMI/ VGA connection, or swap another cable or monitor to test. -
Remove Device from APP
Home page Long press the NVR icon Click “Remove Device” Click “Confirm” -
Share Device with Others from APP Home management: Me → Home Management → Create home
→ Add Member after creating a home -
Forget Passwords
Press the reset button for about 8 seconds to restore the device to factory settings. -
Fail to Access the NVR
If you failed to access the POE NVR remotely via mobile phone or PC, please try the following:
• Make sure you can locally access this NVR system.
• Connect your phone or PC under the same network (LAN) of your NVR and see if you can visit any website to verify whether there is Internet access available.
• Reboot your NVR and home router and try again.

Security Camera Systems.
Limited Warranty
This product comes with 1 year limited warranty that is valid only if
purchased from Natures Generator Inc or other authorized resellers.
NOTE:
We hope that you enjoy your new purchase. But if you are not satisfied with the
product and plan to return it, to protect your privacy, we strongly suggest
that you can format the HDD in NVR and remove the device from APP.
