Product Information

The product is the Bluetooth Remote Controller Model U2. It is a remote control that can be used to control various devices through Bluetooth or infrared (IR) signals. The device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules and has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device. The device can be used in portable exposure condition without restriction.

Product Usage Instructions

Load Batteries

Open the battery compartment located at the back of the remote controller. Insert two AAA batteries into the compartment, making sure to align the positive and negative ends of the batteries correctly. Close the battery compartment.

Add a Device

IR Matching Mode:

  1. Point the U2 remote control at your device.
  2. Click the first button on the U2 remote control and choose Yes or No to see if it works.

IR Learning Mode:

  1. Keep the U2 remote control line-of-sight with your original remote.
  2. Select the Icon of the function key that needs to be copied on the App.
  3. Long press the corresponding function key of the original remote.
  4. If the App notifies you it’s successful, then it is completed. If not, please try again.

Bluetooth Mode:

  1. Press and hold the button of the original remote that corresponds to the device you want to add.
  2. Back to Bluetooth devices and select the device you want to add.
  3. If the device is successfully connected, scroll to the desired device and start using.

Reassign Remote Key

To reassign remote keys, select the key you want to reassign and follow the instructions on the App.

Create Macro for This Key

To create a macro for a key, select the key and follow the instructions on the App.

Clear This Key

To clear a key, select the key and follow the instructions on the App.

Connect Remote

  1. Search SofaBaton on App Store or Google Play and download the app.
  2. Connect your U2 remote control to your phone via Bluetooth.
  3. Follow the instructions on the App to add a new device or reassign remote keys.

Via IR Learning Mode
Keep U2 Line-of-Sight with your original remote, select the Icon of the function key that needs to be copied. Meanwhile, long press the corresponding function key of the original remote. If the App notifies you it’s successful, means completed. If not, please try again

Via IR Matching Mode
Keep U2 Line-of-Sight with your device, clicks the firstly and then choose Yes or No to see if it works. During the process, the U2 remote control will emit infrared signals to the device. And U2 will be able to find proper code set after searching database.

Via Bluetooth Mode
If you add a new Bluetooth Device, the App would be disconnected from your U2 first. Meanwhile, you can connect your U2 with your phone to complete the remaining steps of adding a new device
