MAYTAG French Door Bottom Mount Dispenser
Product Information
The French Door Bottom Mount Dispensing Guide is a refrigerator with a water and ice dispenser. It has a control panel with two options – Water and Ice. The dispenser is designed to dispense water and cubed ice.
Product Usage Instructions
- First, select either water or cubed ice by touching the word Water or Ice on the control panel. The light above the control indicates your selection.
- When dispensing ice, use a sturdy glass to prevent cuts.
- Press a sturdy container against the dispenser lever.
- IMPORTANT: You do not need to apply a lot of pressure to the lever to activate the dispenser. Pressing hard will not make the water or ice dispense faster or in greater quantities.
- To stop dispensing, remove the container from the dispenser lever.
Water Dispensing
- Select Water on the control panel.
- Press a sturdy container against the dispenser lever.
- IMPORTANT: You do not need to apply a lot of pressure to the lever to activate the dispenser. Pressing hard will not make the water dispense faster or in greater quantities.
- To stop dispensing, remove the container from the dispenser lever.
TO DISPENSE WATER AND ICE

Cut Hazard
Use a sturdy glass when dispensing ice. Failure to do so can result in cuts.

Remove the container to stop dispensing.
Cubed Ice Dispensing
- Select Ice on the control panel.
- Use a sturdy glass to prevent cuts.
- Press a sturdy container against the dispenser lever.
- IMPORTANT: You do not need to apply a lot of pressure to the lever to activate the dispenser. Pressing hard will not make the ice dispense faster or in greater quantities.
- To stop dispensing, remove the container from the dispenser lever.
WARNING: Failure to use a sturdy glass when dispensing ice can result in
cuts.
