IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to obey
the warnings and instructions may result in electrical shock, fire and/or
serious injury.

- Only charge Husqvarna original PACE batteries with the product. For questions please contact Husqvarna dealer.
- Do not try to disassemble or repair the product. All repairs are to be done by an approved dealer only. Do not use a defective or damaged product.
- Do not cause mechanical shock to the product.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Keep the product away from children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Do not keep the battery in the battery charger when it is fully charged.
- Do not short circuit the product.
- Keep the product clean and away from sunlight.
- Do not use when there is risk of lightning.
- The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazard.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
OPERATION
- The battery will not charge if the battery temperature is more than 60°C (140°F).
- The warning symbol on the product comes on when an error has occurred.
- Battery charger must only be plugged into a grounded power outlet.
- The battery must be put in a good ventilated area during charging.
TO CHARGE THE BATTERY
CAUTION: Only charge the battery when the ambient temperature is between 5°C (41°F) and 40°C (104°F).

Connect the battery charger to a power outlet. The charging LED comes on.
CAUTION: Only connect the battery charger to a power outlet with the voltage and frequency specified on the rating plate. -
Put the battery in the battery charger. When the charging LED on the battery charger comes on, the battery is connected correctly to the battery charger.

The battery is fully charged when all LEDs on the LED indicator on the battery are on.

Remove the battery from the battery charger.
TO FAST CHARGE THE BATTERY
- Put the battery in the battery charger.
- Push the fast charge button.
- To stop the fast charge, push the fast charge button.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptoms | Cause | Solution |
---|
The error LED on the battery charger and the temperature symbol on the bat-
tery flash.| Temperature deviation, the battery is too cold or too hot to
charge.| Use the battery charger temperatures between 5°C ambient C (41°F) and
40°C (104°F). Let the battery become cool.
The error LED on the battery charger flashes and the battery state of charge
shows fully charged.| The battery is charged too much.| Remove the battery and
wait 15 min. Do a check of the state of charge of the battery.
Put the battery in the product and start the product for 5 minutes.
Speak to your dealer.
The error LED flashes on the battery charger and the battery state of charge
is low.| The battery is discharged.| Remove the battery and wait 15 min. Do a
check of the state of charge of the battery.
Speak to your dealer.
The error LED on battery charger is red.| Permanent battery charger error.|
Speak to your dealer.
The error LED on battery charger flashes red and the error LED on battery is
red.| Defective battery.| Speak to your dealer.
The error LED on the battery charger flashes. No error on the battery.|
Temporary error.| Remove the battery from the charger or tool and wait 60
seconds.
Put the battery in the battery charger and charge the battery.
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
- Obey the special requirements on package and labels for commercial transports, also those from third parties and forwarding agents. Obey all applicable national regulations.
- Keep the product away from metal objects such as nails, screws or jewelry.
- Put the product in a dry and clean space. The ambient temperature must be 5 °C / 41 °F to 25 °C / 77 °F.
- Do not store the product in direct sunlight.
- Clean the product before you put it in storage.
- Do not keep the battery in the battery charger during storage.
DISPOSAL
Husqvarna products are not domestic waste and must only be discarded as given in this manual.
- Obey the local disposal requirements and applicable regulations.
- Recycle the battery charger and package at an applicable disposal location.
- Speak to your local Husqvarna dealer for mor information on how to recycle and discard the battery.
