Features About this item
-
G-Sensor lock (Gravity sensor lock)
When the car takes a collision, the G-sensor will be set off and the current video clip will be locked to save evidence, so it won’t be deleted in loop recording mode. (Sometimes you will see a lock(key) icon on the screen, that is G-sensor activated) -
Screen saver (Screen protector)
In order to guarantee safe driving, and not to be affected by the light of the recorder, you can set the screen saver to shut off the display, and press any key to turn it back on. -
Loop recording
In loop recording, the camera will record the video in 1/2/3/5 minutes clips, and when the card is full, the camera will cover the earliest clip with the latest one, and so forth. (Locked video will not be covered) -
Motion Detection
Motion Detection is used to save storage space, when motion detection is on, the camera will automatically start recording when the camera detects movement is stopped. We do not recommend turning on this function during driving for your safety.
Customer Questions & Answers
Q: Keeping Saying, SD Card Full?
A:
- Format your new SD card on the dash cam when you first use it. We suggest using a class 10 high-speed micro SD card, no more than 32 GB. (Please remember to insert a Micro SD card before the dash cam power on!)
- Please check if you set loop recording success, if set success, there will have a mark on the dash cam screen.
- Please do remember to close the parking monitoring and motion detection functions when you’re driving on the road. (if not, these two functions trigger the captured locked videos which can’t be overwritten. If it shows the card full, you need to format the card.)
- If the G-sensor is set to high, it is easy to lock the file and make the Micro SD card full, so the suggested set to low, is safe enough and recommended to format your SD Card monthly.
- If keep saying ” insert C6 and above SD card”, it may be because the SD card is not compatible with a dash cam. Some SD card on the market is false SD card. Please try a new SD card.
Q: The camera can not record video or take photos.
A: Be sure you are using a suitable memory card: Speed over Class 10, Capacity
no less than 8GB. Be sure the memory card is formatted properly and inserted
correctly.
Q: Does the camera automatically stop recording?
A: Format the memory card in the setting menu.
The G-sensor might be triggered too often and lock too many video files, try
low sensitivity and turn off the motion detection function when you are
driving
Q: The camera can not turn on.
A: This camera features a Built-in battery as internal power, it’s used only
for saving the video file after the external power supply cuts off (the car
turns off). This camera will not turn on without an external power supply.
Check the power supply, and make sure they are connected properly, the power
indicator on the power adapter is on, and the connectors are tight.
Q: Suction mount cannot attach to the windshield well?
A: Please clean the windshield with a glass cleaning wipe. Removed the
protective film. Please soak the suction mount to warm water for a moment. If
it is still not working, please contact us at
eridax@163.com to get a replacement.
Q: The recorded video is unclear?
A: Make sure there are no fingerprints or dirt on the lens, and try to adjust
the angle to avoid blocks or glare or windshield reflecting.
Q: Color of the video or photo is not good?
A: Verify that the Frequency option is set to 50Hz or set accordingly.
Q: The camera crashes or does not respond to operations?
A: Use a pin or an unfolded paper clip, and press the RESET button to restart
the camera.
