Product Information

The LC1D40…D95 / LC2D40…D95 are contactors and reversing contactors manufactured by Schneider Electric. The product is available in various models including LC1D40, LC1D50, LC1D65, LC1D80, LC1D95, LC2D40, LC2D50, LC2D65, LC2D80 and LC2D95. The product is designed to control electric circuits up to 1000V AC and 440V DC.

The product is also equipped with adder blocks such as LAD8Np, LADN 01 10, LADp, LADTp, LADSp, LADRp and LADNp. These adder blocks are used to modify the contactor’s functionality and adapt it to specific requirements.

The product dimensions range from 75mm to 182mm depending on the model. The product is also equipped with various coils that have different operating times ranging from 0.1s to 180s.

It is important to note that this product contains Antimony oxide (Antimony trioxide) which is known to the State of California to cause cancer.

Product Usage Instructions

Electrical equipment should only be installed, operated, serviced and maintained by qualified personnel.

Before servicing the equipment, disconnect all power to avoid electric shock, explosion or arc flash. Failure to do so can result in serious injury or death.

If the branch-circuit protective device opens, it may indicate a fault current has been interrupted. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, examine the components carrying the current.

After installation due to creepage effect, it is recommended to recheck the torque periodically, especially for 35 mm2 rigid cable or larger.

  1. For LC1D406(S207)-LC1D506(S207)-LC1D656(S207)→ 2.5 N.m
  2. For LC1D806(S207)-LC1D956(S207)→ 5 N.m

After installation due to creepage effect, it is recommended to recheck the torque periodically, especially for AWG 2 rigid cable or larger.

  1. For LC1D406(S207)-LC1D506(S207)-LC1D656(S207)→  22.12 lb-in.
  2. For LC1D806(S207)-LC1D956(S207) →  45.25 lb-in.
