Product Information

• Specification: This product is a 2-wire digital system with 2MP resolution and Tuya Smart/Smart Life APP compatibility. It has a display screen with standard definition and supports calling mode, calling time, standby current, and work currently.
• Power supply: The product requires a DC24V power supply and can operate within a work temperature range. It can be installed using cables and a stent and has a maximum SD card capacity for recording.
• Resolution: The product supports various resolutions including 1080P, 960P, 720P, and 480P.
• Description of indoor unit: The indoor unit has a touch screen type TFT-LCD display with a microphone, speaker, SD card slot, AC-IN (100-240V), DC-IN:24V, gate lock, doorbell, status indicator, and DOOR1/DOOR2 status indicators. It also has various touchscreen icons for system settings, device parameter settings, ringtone settings, record file playback, multimedia playback, transfer calling, gate lock, at-home mode, not-at-home mode, sleep mode, and outdoor units.
• Wiring connection: The product can be wired using DC24V GND and CAT5 or CAT6 network cable connection modes.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Please keep the product away from devices with intense radiation such as TVs and DVRs to avoid interference.
2. Do not disassemble the product privately to avoid electric shock.
3. Avoid dropping, shaking or knocking the device to prevent damage to its elements.
4. Choose the best position to install the indoor unit, keeping the horizontal view at 150cm.
5. Power down the product before installation.
6. Keep the product at a distance of more than 30cm from AC power to avoid interference.
7. Avoid installing the product near water, magnetic fields, and chemicals.
8. Refer to the wiring diagram for a proper wiring connection.
9. Use and select wire carefully for better results.
10. Select language and device ID for default settings.

Install the indoor unit

Setting

System

1. The system supports up to 128G SD cards (not included). When using a 16/32G TF card, please format it with FAT32 on the computer before use. When use a 64/128G TF card, please format with EXFAT on the computer before use.
2. Please insert the SD card into the SD card slot of the indoor monitor. Please note if no SD card, there will be no function for motion detection and no records could be saved in the indoor monitor. And also no digital frame function and no media function.
3. Please format the SD card with the device again and copy the files to the corresponding folder. Please note it must match the corresponding folder.
4. Restore factory settings: All set parameters are restored to factory mode. Note that Tuya’s device must be deleted together before it can be used again, otherwise, it cannot be added and used by other accounts. Can’t connect to the Internet.

Time

1. (Screen off): Back to system menu 10s later will be off.
2. (Clock): Standby displays the time.

Digital Frame

Note:

1. The picture file must be copied to the Digital Frame folder, the picture resolution must not be greater than 2526×1576, and the format is JPEG.
2. Long press the file to pop up the submenu, select “Delete” or “Delete All”, and click the file to enter the playback interface.

Devices

1. If the channel is closed, it will be skipped when monitoring the polling screen. This channel and APP will not display this channel. Please set it carefully.
2. When Motion Detection Push APP is closed, the phone will not receive any push information.

Ring

1. The ringtone of each channel can be set to three time periods, and different ringtone types and volumes can be set, but it should be noted that there can be no gaps and overlaps between the three time periods, otherwise, the system will play the default parameters.
2. Please note that the volume setting of the Doorbell cannot be greater than the volume of the indoor unit.

Monitor

1. When only one outdoor unit connects with a monitor, able to power on at the same time.
2. When need to connect multiple outdoor units, please power them on one by one in sequence, and the monitor will show as door 1, door 2, door 3, and door 4 according to the power-on sequence.
3. During the monitor quick start page, the outdoor unit is unable to connect it, after entering the menu page 3-5 sec will auto connect, the icon will be green in color

Recording

1. Click the file to play directly, long press the file to enter the delete/read operation

App Download

New users register it according to the guide steps, already registered users just log in the account.

EZ mode

1. EZ mode, only use the mobile phone to connect the WIFI router and match the WIFI password (Monitor no need to set) as shown below

Precautions

• It is better to turn off the data flow when connecting to the network, use WIFI communication, and firstly use WIFI to test whether the network is smooth, the signal is better to be above 90%, because the EZ mode uses the broadcast mode, and The strong signal will make the connection easier to succeed.
• Please choose a 2.4 GHz WiFi network, this device will not work with 5Ghz Wifi networks.

Note:
If the connection using EZ mode is unsuccessful, generally there are the following points:

1. The total number of road management mail users is generally 16, 32, or 128; The number of most users is 16, if all users are connected, it will be difficult to reconnect and access this device through EZ mode. In this case, you can delete some users, Or use AP mode.
2. The encoding and decoding methods of some older WiFi routers are relatively old and do not support EZ mode in this case, you can only connect using AP mode.
3. If you connect a high-definition WiFi camera to a WiFi router, it will also affect the success rate of the connection. Because high-definition video will take up a lot of bandwidth and cause broadcast interruption during the EZ mode connection, the successful configuration will be more difficult. The method can be to first suspend the power supply of the WiFi camera, and then resume the power supply of the camera after the connection is successful, or use the AP mode to connect.
4. Do not connect more than two devices at the same time under the same router environment, otherwise, they will cross-code with each other. You can turn off one of them and then connect the other one.

AP mode

To quickly configure the interface and configure the AP mode in (Settings>Network Interface), note: In (Settings > Network Interface), press the back button to restart the device. (Settings > Network Interface) View the WIFI hotspot name and password.

Note on using the App

1. If the device has been successfully connected to the user, the user needs to delete the device on the APP before adding it to another user. (Note: The user should be deleted when the next work is good, otherwise it’s only deleted on the mobile APP, but not on the server) . After deleting, go back to the APP to check and confirm.
2. If a new user needs to be added again the machine restores to the factory settings, and the current user also needs to delete the delete and then re-connect, Otherwise, the device has deleted the password of the router and it’s unable to connect.
3. If the monitor has paired successfully to the network, but the adaptor power gets OFF and ON. Customers don’t need to re-configure the network connection settings and date and time again. It will be repaired by itself under the same network and it will take 2 minutes to complete the process without further configuration.

Also, other settings that have been configured by customers will remain the same as the device setting before the power OFF status. Calling from Outdoor to Indoor can be initiated once the display power goes ON irrespective of the network connectivity.
