Product Information

The Perfect B.V. Everdenberg 9A Oosterhout The Netherlands is a multi- functional device that comes with various features including DAB+ / DAB / FM RDS / Bluetooth / GB Operating instructions. The device has two aux-in ports, Aux In-1 / Aux In-2, and is available with user manuals in different languages. The device is equipped with safety instructions and comes with a warning that the warranty becomes void if the device cabinet is opened or any modifications or alterations are made to the original device.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Important safety instructions: Read and follow all the safety instructions mentioned in the user manual before using the device.
2. Power supply: Connect the power cord to the device and plug the other end into a power outlet.
3. Radio usage: To listen to the radio, switch on the device and select the desired mode – DAB+, DAB or FM RDS.
4. Bluetooth usage: To connect your device via Bluetooth, turn on Bluetooth on your device and select “Perfectpro”Mfrom the list of available devices.
5. Aux-in usage: Connect your external audio device to either Aux In-1 or Aux In-2 port using an audio cable.
6. Safety precautions: Do not use this apparatus near water, never open the device casing, and do not block any ventilation openings. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
7. Servicing: Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way or does not operate normally.

10. Only use attachments / accessories specified by the manufacturer.

11. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when
    moving the cart / apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.

12. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

13. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as a power-supply cord or plug is damaged. liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

15. The Shock Hazard Marking and Associated Graphical Symbol is provided on the rear of unit.

16. Apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, shall be placed on the apparatus.

17. Excessive sound pressure on ear-and headphones could impair the hearing ability. Higher setting that idle on the equalizer leads to higher signal voltages on the output for ear and headphones.

18. The power plug should be close to the radio, and easy to be approached that during the emergency, to disconnect the power from the radio, just unplug the power plug from the AC power slot.

19. Where the MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnected device shall remain readily operable.

20. The batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

21. This apparatus is provided with protection against splashing water (IP44).

User Safety Precautions

• Do not attempt to disassemble the plastic covering or any parts of the device, as the materials inside may be toxic and may damage skin and clothes.
• Do not puncture, crush, modify, throw or cause any unnecessary shock to your battery, as the battery used in this device may present a risk of fire, explosion, or chemical burn if mistreated.
• Do not leave, charge or use the battery in a car under direct sunlight, near fire or a heated source.
• Do not immerse or throw the battery in water /seawater.
• Do not use or charge the battery if it appears to be abnormally hot, discolored, deformed or abnormal conditions are detected during use, charge or storage.
• Do not leave a charging battery unattended. Keep the battery away from babies and children.
• CAUTION : ‘Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.’
• CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
• The battery combination is stored at room temperature (25 degrees), charged to 40%~60% of the power, charge once every three months, for the storage of more than a year of battery, performance cannot be guaranteed.
• CAUTION : This equipment is intended to use with 18V BOSCH Li-ion battery pack.
• Intended for use with GBA BOSCH battery packs of the same voltage class.

Operating with external 18V BOSCH Li-ion battery pack (Fig. 2-4)

When using only an external 18V BOSCH Li-ion battery pack and turning on the radio, a battery symbol will appear in the upper right corner of the screen.

1. Open the battery cover.
2. To install the battery pack, align the tongue on the battery pack with the groove in the housing and slip it into place. Always insert it all the way until it locks in place with two clicks.
3. To remove the battery pack, slide it from the radio while pressing the button on the front of the battery pack.
4. Close the battery cover.
   CAUTION :

• Always attach the battery pack completely. If not, it may accidentally fall out of the battery bay, causing injury to you or someone around you.
• Do not force attach the battery pack. If the battery pack does not slide in smoothly and does not engage, it is not being inserted correctly.

Indicating the remaining battery capacity (Fig. 5)

Press the Check button on the battery pack to indicate the remaining battery capacity.

AC operation

Before you plug the AC power cord into the AC socket, make sure the voltage is correct.
If an external 18V BOSCH Li-ion battery pack is connected and the AC power cord is also used, the battery will be automatically disconnected.
AC cable hook is designed to store the cord when the radio is not in use.
IMPORTANT :
The mains plug is used as the means of connecting the radio to the mains supply. The mains socket used for the radio must remain accessible during normal use. In order to disconnect the radio from the mains completely, the mains plug should be removed from the mains outlet completely.

Listening to DAB radio

Tuning into DAB stations
To tune into DAB radio stations, follow these steps:

1. Turn on the radio using the Standby button.
2. Select the DAB radio mode by repeatedly pressing the Source button.
3. If this is the first time the DAB radio mode is being used, the radio will automatically perform a full scan in order to find all available DAB radio stations. During the scanning process, as new stations are detected the station counter will increase and the stations will be added to the list which is stored in the radio. The bar graph indicates the progress of the scan.
4. When scanning is completed, the radio will list all stations that were found. Rotate the Tuning knob to access the radio station list and to scroll through the available stations. Then press the Tuning knob to tune into a station.
5. Use the Volume knob to set the sound level as needed.

Note : Before selecting the DAB radio mode and performing a scan, make sure the DAB / FM antenna has been positioned upright.

The DAB radio menu
You can open the DAB radio menu by pressing and holding the Info / Menu button while the radio is in the DAB radio mode.
Rotate the Tuning knob to select one of the options and then press the Tuning knob to confirm your choice.
The radio’s default and recommended settings are indicated using an asterisk.
The DAB radio menu offers the following options:

• [Station list]: Select this option display all DAB radio stations that were found and tune into one of the stations.

• [Full Scan] : Select this option to perform a full scan and store all DAB radio stations that were found in the station list. Alternatively press Auto tune button to scan for new stations.

• [Manual Tune] : Select this option to manually tune into a DAB channel / frequency.

  • [Station order]: Select this option and subsequently select [Alphanumeric] to sort the station list alphanumerically or select [Ensemble] to sort the station list by DAB multiplex or select [Valid] to show only those stations for which a signal can be found.

  • [DRC] : Dynamic Range Control (also known as DRC) can make quieter sounds easier to hear when your radio is used in a noisy environment by reducing the dynamic range of the audio signal.
    After selecting this option, select the required DRC setting:

  • [DRC off] : DRC is switched off. Broadcast DRC will be ignored. This is the default setting.

  • [DRC low] : DRC level is set to 1 / 2 that sent by broadcaster.

  • [DRC high] : DRC is set as sent by broadcaster. NOTE: Not all DAB broadcasts are able to use the DRC function. If the broadcast does not support DRC, then the DRC setting in the radio will have no effect.

• [Prune Invalid]: Select this option to delete all unavailable stations from the station list.
• [System Settings]: Select this option to go to the System settings menu and configure the radio (refer to the chapter “Using the System settings menu” for details).

Showing DAB information on the display
When listening to a DAB radio broadcast, repeatedly press the Info / Menu button to cycle through the following information on the radio’s display:
Text, Program type, Multiplex name & Frequency, Date, Bit rate, Codec & Audio type, Signal error & Strength, DL Plus text (Some stations may provide other programme related information for the display in addition to the regular text. If none is available, a message “no info” is displayed.) If the broadcast being received is in stereo, then the stereo speaker icon will be shown at the bottom of the radio’s display. If the currently tuned station has been stored as a preset, then the preset number will also be shown.
If a DAB broadcast provides a slideshow image, this may be viewed full-screen by pressing the Select button. To exit the slideshow image, press the Select button again.

Listening to FM radio

Tuning into FM stations
To tune into FM radio stations, follow these steps:

1. Turn on the radio using the Standby button.
2. Select the FM radio mode by repeatedly pressing the Source button.
3. Rotate the Tuning knob clockwise or anti-clockwise and then press the Auto tune button to automatically tune into an FM station with a higher or lower frequency respectively. Your radio will stop scanning when it finds a station of sufficient strength. The display will show the frequency of the signal which has been found and a signal strength icon will be shown in the bottom bar of the radio’s display to indicate the strength of the signal received. If RDS information is available, an RDS icon will also be shown in the bottom bar of the radio’s display and after a few seconds the display will show the radio station name.
4. Rotate the Tuning knob to fine-tune the frequency with steps of 0.05MHz if needed.
5. Repeat the steps 3 and 4 to tune into other radio stations.
6. Adjust the Volume to the required setting.
   Note: If you find that FM reception is poor, try repositioning the antenna.

The FM radio menu
You can open the FM radio menu by pressing and holding the Info / Menu button while the radio is in the FM radio mode.
Rotate the Tuning knob to select one of the options and then press the Tuning knob to confirm your choice.
The radio’s default and recommended settings are indicated using an asterisk.
The FM radio menu offers the following options:

• [FM Scan Zone]: Select this option to configure if the radio should only look for strong signals (“Local”) or all signals (“Distant”) when using the automatic tuning feature.
• [FM RDS]: Select this option to enable or disable RDS reception. When listening to an FM radio station that is also broadcasting RDS data, select [On] to enable RDS information reception or [Off] to disable RDS information reception.
• [System Settings]: Select this option to go to the System settings menu and configure the radio (refer to the chapter “Using the System settings menu” for details).

Showing FM information on the display
When listening to an FM radio station that is also broadcasting RDS data (the RDS icon is shown in the bottom bar of the radio’s display), repeatedly press the Info / Menu button to cycle through the following information on the radio’s display:
Radio Text, Program Type, Signal Strength, Date. If the stereo speaker icon is shown at the bottom of the radio’s display, this indicates that the radio is receiving a stereo broadcast.

FM stereo / mono
If the FM radio station being listened to has a weak signal some hiss may be audible. It is possible to reduce this hiss by forcing the radio to play the station in mono rather than stereo. Press the Stereo / Mono button repeatedly, the display will show “Forced Mono” or “Stereo Allowed”.

Presetting stations in DAB and FM modes
There are 6 memory presets each for DAB and FM radio. They are used in the same way for each operating mode.

1. Turn on the radio, then select the DAB or FM radio mode and tune to the required radio station as previously described.
2. Press and hold the Preset button until the display shows, for example, “Preset 01 stored”. The station will be stored under the chosen preset button. Repeat this procedure as needed for the remaining presets. Stations stored in preset memories may be overwritten by following the above procedure.

Recalling a preset in DAB and FM modes

1. Turn on the radio and then select the DAB or FM radio mode using the Source button.
2. Press the required Preset button to cause your radio to tune to the station stored in preset memory.

Using the System settings menu

The System settings menu can be used to configure your radio. Follow these steps to access the System settings menu:

1. Turn on the radio using the Standby button.

2. Press and hold the Info / Menu button to open the menu for the current mode.
   Rotate the Tuning knob to select [System Settings] and press the Tuning knob to open the menu.

3. he System settings menu offers the following options: Rotate the Tuning knob to select one of the options and then press the Tuning knob to confirm your choice. Press the Info / Menu button to go back one step in the radio’s menus.
   The radio’s default and recommended settings are indicated using an asterisk.

• [MIC Volume] : Select this option to adjust the microphone volume. Rotate the Tuning knob to adjust the desired microphone volume.

• [3D SRS] : Select this option and then select [ Off ] to turn off the 3D surround sound or select [ On ] to turn on the 3D surround sound.

• [Time setup] : Select this option to set the time and date manually, to set the source for automatically updating the time and date, or to set the time format.

• [ Sleep] : The sleep timer allows you to automatically turn off the radio after a preset time has elapsed. Select this option and press the Tuning knob. Then Rotate the Tuning knob to select the desired sleep time. The sleep timer can be set from 15 to 120 minutes or select “Sleep off” to cancel the sleep timer. Press the Tuning knob to confirm the setting. An active sleep timer is shown using a sleep timer icon at the bottom of the playing display. This icon also shows the remaining sleep time before the radio switches itself into standby mode.
  To cancel the sleep time before the preset time has elapsed and to turn off the radio, press the Standby button to turn the radio off manually.

• [ Backlight ]: Select this option and then select [Timeout] to adjust the length of time before the backlight turns off or select [On Level] to adjust the display’s brightness level when the radio is turned on or select [Standby Level] to adjust the backlight brightness when the radio is in standby mode.

• [ Language ]: Select this option to configure the language in which the radio’s menus are shown.

• [Factory Reset]: Select this option to reset the radio to the default factory settings. After confirmation, all user settings and preset stations will be erased.

• [SW Version]: Select this option to view the software version of the radio.

Listening to music via Bluetooth streaming
You need to pair your Bluetooth device with your radio before you can auto- link to play / stream Bluetooth music through your radio. Pairing creates a ‘bond’ so the two devices can recognize each other.

Pairing and playing your Bluetooth device for the first time

1. With your radio switched on, press the Source button to select Bluetooth mode. “BT Pairing” will show on the display. The Bluetooth LED indicator on the radio will flash blue to show the radio is discoverable.
2. Activate Bluetooth on your device according to the device’s user manual to link to the radio. Locate the Bluetooth device list and select the device named “RH4-18V” (With some Smartphone’s that are equipped with earlier versions than BT2.1 Bluetooth device, you may need to input the pass code “0000”).
3. Once connected, there will be a confirmation tone sound and the name of your connected Bluetooth device will show on the display. The Bluetooth LED indicator will turn solid blue. You can simply select and play any music from your source device.
4. The volume control can be adjusted from your source device, or directly from the radio. Use the controls on your Bluetooth-enabled device or on the radio to play /pause and navigate tracks.

Note :

• If 2 Bluetooth devices are pairing for the first time, both will search for your radio, it will show its availability on both devices. However, if one device links with this unit first, then the other Bluetooth device will not find it on the list.
• If you take your source device out of range, the connection will be temporarily disconnected to your radio. Your radio will automatically reconnect if the source device is brought back in range. Be aware that during the period of disconnection, no other Bluetooth device can pair or link with your radio.
• If “RH4-18V” shows in your Bluetooth device list but your device cannot connect with it, please delete the item from your list and pair the device with the radio again following the steps described previously.
• The effective operation range between the system and the paired device is approximately 10 meters (30 feet). Any obstacle between the system and the device can reduce the operational range.
• Bluetooth / NFC connectivity performance may vary depending on the connected Bluetooth devices. Please refer to the Bluetooth capabilities of your device before connecting to your radio. All features may not be supported on some paired Bluetooth devices.
• With some mobile phones, making / receiving calls, text messages, e-mails or any other activities unrelated to audio streaming may mute the Bluetooth audio streaming or even temporarily disconnect from your device. Such behavior is a function of the connected device and does not indicate a fault with your radio.

Playing audio files in Bluetooth mode
When you have successfully connected your radio with the chosen Bluetooth device you can start to play your music using the controls on your connected Bluetooth device.

1. Once playing has started, the volume can be adjusted both on the radio using the Volume knob and on the Bluetooth device using the volume control of the device.
2. Use the controls on your Bluetooth device to play /pause and navigate tracks. Alternatively, control the playback using Play / Pause, Next track, Previous track buttons on your radio.
3. Press and hold the Fast forward or Rewind button to move through the current track. Release the button when the desired point is reached.

Note : Not all player applications or devices may respond to all of these controls.

Showing Bluetooth information on the display
If your connected device can provide information from the track being played, when listening to Bluetooth audio, repeatedly press the Info / Menu button to cycle through the following information on the radio’s display:

• Title
• Artist
• Album
• Date

Please note that the availability of information depends on the specific media format.

Reconnecting a previously-paired Bluetooth source device
The radio can memorize up to 6 sets of paired Bluetooth devices, when the memory exceeds this amount, the earliest paring device will be overwritten from the device. If your Bluetooth device is already paired with the radio previously, the unit will memorize your Bluetooth device and it attempts to reconnect with a Bluetooth device in memory that is last connected.

Disconnecting your Bluetooth device
To disconnect your Bluetooth device, either turn off Bluetooth on the Bluetooth device, press and hold the Bluetooth pair button on the radio to switch over to the pairing mode (the Bluetooth indicator will blink blue), or switch to another mode on the radio by pressing the Source button. If you disconnect the Bluetooth device when the radio is in the Bluetooth mode, the radio’s display will show “BT Pairing” and the radio will be available for pairing again.

Pairing and playing your device via NFC
The radio is equipped with wireless NFC (Near Field Communication) feature, allowing playing NFC-enabled devices to pair and play the music. For non-NFC devices, please refer to the above sections for standard Bluetooth pairing.
Note : When the radio is running on battery only, it needs to be in power on mode to enable NFC.

1. Turn on your NFC feature on your device. (Important: Please make sure the screen of your playing device is on and unlocked to allow NFC to work.)
2. Touch the NFC area of your playing device against the NFC area on the top right panel of your radio. The unit will switch to Bluetooth mode and enter automatic pairing. If you pair with your radio for the first time, your NFC-enabled device will be asked the permission to link with the radio. Once paired with a device, the Bluetooth LED indicator will remain illuminated.
3. Use the controls on your device or on your radio to play / pause and navigate tracks.

Note :

• If you would like to link another Bluetooth device for the first time via NFC, disconnect the existing linked Bluetooth device first.
• The location of the NFC detection area is not the same on all devices. When connecting with other Bluetooth device via NFC, refer to the User guide of the other device for more information.
  Some of metallic case or cover for mobile phones may reduce the sensitivity of NFC. Make sure you remove it, before activating the NFC.

Disconnecting your NFC-enabled device
To disconnect your device, simply touch it again on the top of the unit. The LED light for Bluetooth icon will then start to flash indicating your radio is discoverable again for pairing. (Important: Please make sure the screen of your playing device is on and unlocked to allow NFC to work.)

The PerfectPro Stereo Pairing Feature
Stereo Pairing (also known as True Wireless Stereo or TWS) is a feature that allows two speakers to wirelessly connect with each other and an audio device to play music in stereo without the need for any cables. Your RH4-18V can be wirelessly connected to a second RH4-18V and an audio device to play music through both speakers at the same time.

Setting up the first speaker

1. Make sure the first speaker is in Bluetooth mode and connect to a Bluetooth device.
2. Press the Stereo pairing button to enter the Stereo pairing mode.

Setting up the second speaker

1. 1. Make sure the second speaker is in Bluetooth mode and that it has not connected to a Bluetooth device.
2. Press the Stereo pairing button to enter the Stereo pairing mode.
   After the speakers have successfully connected, the first speaker will display “Lead Stereo”. The second speaker will display “Follow Stereo”.

Note :

• Set up the second speaker within 1 minute of the first one, otherwise the setting of the first speaker will be canceled.
• When both speakers are connected to the same Bluetooth device, the Stereo Pairing feature cannot be set. In this case, you need to disconnect the Bluetooth connection of one of the speakers to set up the Stereo Pairing feature.

Starting playback

1. Start playback on the connected Bluetooth device and adjust the volume on the Bluetooth device or one of the speakers for comfortable listening.
   Note : Volume, EQ and Loudness setting of one speaker is reflected on the other.

2. Use the controls on your Bluetooth device to play /pause and navigate tracks. Alternatively, control the playback using the Play / Pause, Next and Previous buttons on either speaker.

3. Press and hold the Next or Previous button on either speaker to fast forward or rewind within the current track. Release the button when the desired point is reached.

Note : Not all player applications or devices may respond to all of these controls.

Switching the audio mode

When using two speakers, you can switch between “Stereo”, “Left” and “Right” mode. Press the L / R button on either of the speakers to change the audio mode.

• “ Stereo” mode: Both speakers play the same sound. This is the default setting.
• “Left” / “Right” mode: One speaker plays the sound on the left channel, while the other speaker plays the sound on the right channel for stereo playback between the speakers.

Disconnecting the PerfectPro Stereo Pairing connection

Press and hold the Stereo pairing button for 2-3 seconds to disconnect the Stereo Pairing feature.

Listening to audio from a USB device or SD card

The RH4-18V is capable of playing MP3 / WMA (version 9 standard) / WAV / AAC / OGG files from USB devices or SD cards.
However, there are many different card variants available and not all cards can be guaranteed to work in RH4-18V.

Playing files from a USB device or SD card

To play audio files from a USB device or SD card, follow these steps:

1. Turn on the radio using the Standby button.
2. Insert the USB device in the USB port or SD card in the SD card slot.
3. Select the USB or SD mode by repeatedly pressing the Source button. After selecting either of these two modes, the radio’s display will show “Reading” while the radio is reading the content of the USB device or SD card.
4. After the content of the USB device or SD card has been read, the radio will start playback. The display will show (for example) “F001 T001 00:00”. The first number represents the folder number, the second number represents the track number within the current folder and the third number represents play time.
5. When playback has started:
   • Press the Play / Pause button to pause / resume playback.
   • Press the Next or Previous button to go to the next or previous track.
   • Press and hold the Next or Previous button to fast forward or rewind within a track and release the button when the desired point is reached.
   • Press the Next folder or Previous folder button to go to the next folder or previous folder.
6. 6. Repeatedly press the Play mode button to select a play mode. The available playback modes are:
   • Repeat one track
   • Repeat one track
   • Repeat a folder
   • Repeat all tracks
   • Shuffle playback

The indicator of the selected play mode is shown at the bottom of the radio’s display. After random play, press the Play mode button once more to switch back to normal playback.

Showing track information on the display

When listening to audio from a USB device or SD card, repeatedly press the Info / Menu button to cycle through the following information on the radio’s display:
File name, Title, Artist, Album, Date.

Charging a USB device

The RH4-18V’s USB port can also be used to charge USB devices. The USB port has an output power of 5V / 1A.
To charge a USB device (e.g. iPhone, smartphone or similar device), just open the USB rubber cover on the right side of the radio and insert/connect it to the USB port. After charging has finished, don’t forget to remove/disconnect the device again and close the USB rubber cover to prevent moist or dust from entering the radio.
Charge time may vary and in some cases may take longer to charge than when using the manufacturer charging unit supplied with the smartphone.

IMPORTANT :

• The USB jack can only provide power for the USB memory stick only with 1A 5V maximum and most of iPhone models. However, it does not support external Hard disk drive and all mobile phones and electronic device.
• The maximum volume of the output power speaker will decrease when your USB is charging.
• The charger may not supply power to some USB devices.
• Do not connect power source to USB port. Otherwise there is risk of fire. The USB port is only intended for charging lower-voltage device. Always close the USB rubber cover when not charging the lower voltage device.
• Do not insert a nail, wire, etc. into USB power supply port. Otherwise a circuit short may cause smoke and fire.
• Do not connect this USB socket with your PC USB port, as it is highly possible that it may cause breakdown of the units.

Listening to audio using the Aux in socket

You can listen to the sound of an external device (such as an iPod or MP3 player) through the speaker of the RH4-18V. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Open the Aux in socket’s rubber cover and connect the external device to the socket using a 3.5mm audio cable.
2. Make sure both the radio and the external device are turned on.
3. Select the AUX IN mode by repeatedly pressing the Source button.
4. The audio output of the external device will now be played through the speakers of the RH4-18V. Playback must be controlled on the external device, while the volume can be controlled both on the radio and on the external device.

Note : After disconnecting the 3.5mm audio cable, close the Aux in socket’s rubber cover again to prevent moist or dust from entering the radio.

Microphone socket

A 6.3mm microphone socket is provided on the right side of the radio for connecting a microphone.

1. 1. Connect the microphone (not supplied) to the microphone (MIC) socket.
2. Make sure both the radio and the microphone are turned on.
3. Adjust the volume control on the radio to the required level.

Note :

• In USB or SD mode, when a USB or SD card is not inserted into the radio, the microphone will not be activated.
• Do not place the microphone against the speaker, it can cause feedback echo and it will damage the radio.

Equalizer function (EQ)

The sound on your radio can be adjusted to suit your personal taste for the songs you are listening to.
Press the EQ button to cycle through the various modes.
a. Flat – no tone modification is applied.
b. Rock
c. Outdoor
d. Pop
e. News
f. Indoor
g. My EQ

If you find the preset equalizer functions not to your liking, you may set up a custom treble and bass as following:

1. Press and hold the EQ button to enter the My EQ setting.
2. Rotate the Tuning knob to adjust the Treble level and then press the Tuning knob to confirm the setting.
3. Rotate the Tuning knob to adjust the Middle level and then press the Tuning knob to confirm the setting.
4. Rotate the Tuning knob to adjust the Bass level and then press the Tuning knob to confirm the setting.

Loudness On / Off

When the radio is turned on, press the Loudness button to enable or disable the radio’s loudness function. When the loudness function is applied, the characters in the EQ mode (such as Flat) will change from white to orange.

WARRANTY

This radio has a 2 year limited warranty.
WARNING! Warranty becomes void once the radio cabinet has been opened or any modifications or alterations to the radio have been made!
The terms of the warranty of this radio do not cover the following:

• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, alterations, accidents or unauthorized repair.
• Normal wear and tear.
• Breaking or bending of the antenna.
• Batteries, being consumables, do not fall under the 2 year warranty conditions of the radio.
