PRODUCT MAINTENANCE

  1. . Purified water is recommended in order to avoid contaminating the textiles. The contents of mineral substance differ in various kinds of water, so there would be sediments to respective extents if the ironing machine is applied with water of different qualities, which makes the steam flow lessens, intermits or even stops. Therefore, in order to avoid contaminating the textiles, the purified water is recommended. However, the two filters inside the steam gun may filter away the impurities in the water and the boiler scale in the heating element, thus to make the water clear.
  2. To better maintain the machine, the machine, when used for a certain period, may be cleaned or maintained as follows, in which we suggest to take the both steps together:
  3. Cleaning the water tank >>>Related parts: water tank and tank filter
  4. Cleaning frequency: Clean every 1 month or 20L water is consumed, which period may be prolonged or shortened according to the actual water quality.

> > Cleaning steps:

  • Pour the remnant water out of the tank;
  • Screw out counterclockwise the tank filter;

Take apart the filter, rinse with clear water all its accessories as well as the water tank, after which, put the filter back into the bottom of tank and tighten it clockwise.H Koenig stm45 Vertical Garment Steamer-

> >> Precautions: Before cleaning, turn off the power supply, pull out the plug and let the machine cool down.
> >> Cleaning steps:
Turn off the power supply, pull out the plug, take down the support pole and tank, turn over the machine body on carpet (to avoid scratching the machine), lift up the hood of cleaning hole, screw out counterclockwise the cleaning plug with a slotted screwdriver and take it out. Rinse the cleaning plug, and get the sediments out of the plug by an iron wire, and get the inner refill through with the same method, get rid of the dirt and rinse it, after which, put the cleaning plug back (screw down by the screwdriver) and then cover the hood of cleaning hole back.
