PRODUCT

Product Information

This product is an electric griddle designed for household use only. It has a polarized plug (120V models only) or a grounded plug (Canada) for safety. The griddle has a short power-supply cord to reduce the risk of entanglement or tripping over longer cords. Extension cords can be used if care is exercised in their use. The griddle has a non-stick coating that can be damaged by sharp utensils or abrasive cleaners. The griddle surface gets hot during use and caution must be taken when placing it on countertops that may be affected by heat.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the griddle, read and save the use and care book.
  2. Make sure the plug fits fully into the outlet. If it doesn’t, reverse the plug or contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug.
  3. If using an extension cord, make sure it is rated for at least the same electrical rating as the griddle, is a grounding-type 3-wire cord (if the griddle is grounded), and is arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
  4. Turn the griddle on and wait for the signal light to turn off, indicating that the griddle is ready to use.
  5. During cooking, the signal light will cycle on and off as the griddle operates to maintain the desired temperature.
  6. To clean the griddle, unplug it and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the probe with a damp cloth and dry it thoroughly. Wash the griddle with warm water and dish soap. Do not use steel wool pads or other abrasive cleaners on the cooking surface as they may damage the non-stick coating. To remove cooked-on food, use a plastic bristle brush or nylon mesh pad.
