VersiCharge Configurator Installation Manual
The VersiCharge Configurator is a software tool used to commission chargers. It is compatible with Windows 10 operating system. The tool supports the following chargers:

Product Usage Instructions
Install the VersiCharge Configurator
- Download the installation package from usa.siemens.com/versicharge or siemens.com/versicharge.
- Double-click on the installation file to begin the installation process.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
- Once installed, launch the VersiCharge Configurator.
- The tool is now ready to be used for commissioning chargers.

VersiCharge Configurator Installation
- Install VersiCharge Configurator on a Windows 10 operating system to commission chargers.
- The following chargers are supported by the VersiCharge Configurator:
- All VersiCharge UL models are supported except those with part numbers 8EM131X-XXX10-XXXX
- VersiCharge IEC models with part numbers 8EM131X-XXX0X-XXXX
- To view the Configurator user manual, click on the Help icon.
- The installation package can be found at usa.siemens.com/versicharge and siemens.com/versicharge.
Install the VersiCharge Configurator
Note
These instructions only apply to the version number listed on the title page.
VersiCharge Configurator installation steps:

Download and store the installation package in a local folder. The installation package is a zip file with the naming convention, VersiCharge_Configurator_Setup_v
.zip. -
Extract the zipped files into the folder of your choice.

Navigate to the extracted zip files and double-click Setup.exe.
The Installation Splash screen appears. -
Click Next to initiate the setup wizard.
If an older version of the Siemens VersiCharge Configurator is already
installed on your system, the setup wizard will prompt you to upgrade to the
newer version.
–To upgrade to the recent version, click Next.
Note
The Setup Wizard will remove the existing version of Siemens VersiCharge
Configurator and replace it with the recent version.
- To exit the setup wizard, click Cancel.
- Read the End User License Agreement. Select the checkbox to accept the terms of the agreement and click Next.
- Specify the destination folder to install.
- To continue with the default installation path, click Next.
- If you wish to change the default installation location, click Browse, select the preferred directory, and click Next.
Install the VersiCharge Configurator
- Click Install to begin the installation.
- Wait for the setup wizard to complete the installation.
- You can monitor the progress of the installation and details of the components installed in the left pane.
- To cancel the installation, click Cancel.
Note
If you cancel the installation process during the setup, the currently
installed version will be removed from your computer.

After successful installation, click Finish to complete the installation and exit the installation wizard.

Click on the log file in the installation wizard to review the installation log.

Click Siemens Industry > VersiCharge-Configurator in the Start Menu or double-click the VersiCharge-Configurator desktop shortcut to launch the application.
Repair or Remove Installation
To repair or remove the existing installation on your computer, perform the following steps.

Modify the installation using the setup wizard or control panel.
- Navigate to the extracted zip files and double-click Setup.exe.
- Click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features from the start menu. Select Siemens VersiCharge Configurator from the list and then click Uninstall/Change.
The setup determines the existing installation on your computer and the setup wizard appears.

Click Next to proceed.

Choose if you want to repair or remove.

To repair, select Repair and click Next.
The setup wizard will fix missing and corrupt files, shortcuts, and registry entries. -
To remove, select Remove and click Next.
The setup removes the existing installation from your computer.

Review and confirm before the setup starts.
- To repair the existing installation, click Repair.
- To remove the existing installation, click Remove.
- To review your choices and return to the previous step, click Back.
- To exit the wizard, click Cancel.
- To review your choices and return to the previous step, click Back.
- To exit the wizard, click Cancel.

Wait for the setup wizard to complete the action.
- After the setup repairs the installation, click Finish to exit the setup wizard.
- After the setup removes the installation components, click Finish to exit the setup wizard.
