INSTALLATION

Find a location where the panel will receive as much direct sunlight as possible and use the supplied brackets to mount the panel. Typically, the panel should be facing South. Be sure to use the 12 V output port on the back of the panel and the supplied 1.5 mm output cable.

Using anything other than the 12 V port and output cable could damage your device and void the warranty.

Insert the black tipped end into the power pack and the yellow end to your camera. When in normal use the red LEDs do not light up unless you push  the TEST button.

It is not recommended to leave batteries in your camera while using the external solar panel.

Note : The other output ports and cables included with the solar panel allows it to be used with other cameras, phones, and devices.

TIPS

  • Panel requires 4 to 6 hours of direct sunlight per day for best performance.
  • Adjusting the angle of the panel can ensure it receives as much sunlight as possible every day.
  • Keep your solar panel clean of pollen, dirt, and debris for best performance.
  • Route the cables along the mounting bracket and as close to the camera as possible to avoid chewing or tearing from animals. Excess cable length should be tucked behind the panel or camera.
  • Ensure both ends of the cables are installed completely and securely.
Turn the camera ON, trigger a photo and check your app to ensure proper network connection before leaving the area.

CAUTION

  • Do not drop, disassemble or puncture the power pack.
  • Do not place in fire, extreme high temperature, or water.
  • If you notice something not right when in use or when charging, like melting, a bulge in the housing or the unit gets extremely hot stop using it immediately.

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in fire, electric shock, damage, or other injury. This power pack is not a toy. Keep away from children and operate outside.
