Service Agreements

Safety, Compliance, and Disposal Information
- This equipment is intended for indoor use only.
- This equipment is not intended to be directly connected to outdoor cables.
- Always disconnect the system from power and telecommunications networks before cleaning or servicing.
- In order to remove all power from this unit, disconnect the power supply mains cord.
- Do not spray liquids directly onto the system when cleaning. Always apply the liquid first to a static- free cloth.
- Do not immerse the system in any liquids or place any liquids on it.
- Do not disassemble this system. To maintain the warranty on the system, a qualified technician must perform service or repair work.
- There are no user serviceable parts inside this product.
- Users must not service any parts in compartments that require a tool to access.
- This equipment should be used only on even surfaces.
- This product is intended to be powered by an external (LPS) power supply – use only the type which is supplied with this product.
- Do not use a power cord that is damaged. This could cause fire or electric shock. Contact the manufacturer for a replacement cord, if necessary.
- Only use a power cord which is appropriately rated and approved relevant to the country of use.
- This system is considered to be a Pluggable Equipment Type A. The socket outlets must be installed near the equipment and be easily accessible.
- This equipment is not intended to be operated by children.
- When connecting to the mains supply, connect only to an earthed supply outlet.
- Keep ventilation openings free from any obstructions.
- The ambient operating temperature rating of this equipment is 0 – 40°C and should not be exceeded.
Installation Instructions
Installation must be performed in accordance with all relevant national wiring
rules.
Plug Acts as Disconnect Device
The socket outlet to which this apparatus is connected must be installed near
the equipment and must always be readily accessible.
USA
Part 15 FCC Rules
This device is compliant with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject
to the following two conditions:
- This device may not cause harmful interference.
- This device must accept any interferences received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
In accordance with part 15 of the FCC rules, the user is cautioned that any
changes or modifications not expressly approved by Polycom Inc. could void the
user’s authority to operate the equipment.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class
A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when
the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment
generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed
and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful
interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a
residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the
user will be required to correct the interference at his own expense.
Modifications
In accordance with Part 15 of the FCC Rules, the user is cautioned that any changes or modifications not expressly approved by Polycom, Inc. could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
Radiation Exposure Statement
The antenna used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 centimeters from all persons and must not be co located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. This device with its antenna complies with FCC’s RF radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. To maintain compliance, this transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
Canada
Industry Canada Statement
This device complies with RSS247 of the Industry Canada rules and also with
ISED’s license-exempt RSS regulations. Operation is subject to the two
following conditions:
- This device does not cause harmful interference.
- This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
This device for operation in band 5150-5250 MHz is only for indoor use to reduce the potential for harmful interference to co-channel mobile satellite systems.
Radiation Exposure Statement:
This equipment complies with ISED radiation exposure limits set forth for an
uncontrolled environment.
This equipment should be installed and operated with greater than 20cm between
the radiator and your body.
CE Mark
P017, P018, P026, and P033 are all marked with the CE mark. This mark
indicates compliance with EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU, RoHS
Directive 2011/65/EU, and Commission Regulation 278/2009.
PO17NR, PO18NR, and PO26NR are all marked with the CE mark. This indicates
compliance with the EU EMC Directive (EMCD) 2014/30/EU, Low Voltage Directive
(LVD) 2014/35/EU, RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU and Commission Regulation
278/2009.
