Product Information
The Movida Relax Armchair is a zero-gravity outdoor chair that allows for relaxation in multiple positions and is easily foldable. It is designed to provide a comfortable seating experience for people with limited mobility, thanks to the footrest that is perpendicular to the ground. The chair also includes an adjustable headrest that can be removed if necessary. The chair is designed without frills, using a system of high-resistance hand-woven elastic bands that slide on the frame to provide support and well-being for every area of the body. When in a raised position, it promotes circulatory well-being. The chair is handcrafted in Italy with respect for the environment, and spare parts are available for lifetime use.
Product Usage Instructions
To set up the Movida Relax Armchair, follow the steps below:
- Read the instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.

- If the shop is unable to solve the problem, contact FIAM Consumer Service directly with proof of purchase.
- To maintain the chair, purchase spare parts from your usual shop or contact FIAM Customer Service at customercare@fiam.it if unable to solve the problem.
- The product meets the general safety requirements according to the European standard EN581.
Cleaning and Maintenance
To clean and maintain the Movida Relax Armchair:
Use a moist and soft cloth. For the most stubborn stains, it is possible to
dilute a small amount of liquid neutral soap in water. After cleaning, dry and
rub with another soft cloth. Never use aggressive detergents. Never use
abrasive sponges that may scratch the surfaces. It is recommended to store the
product in a covered, dry and ventilated place during the long periods it is
not in use or before winter sets in, in order to preserve its features over
time. Product only intended for household use.
- Wipe down the chair regularly with a damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive or corrosive substances to clean the chair.
- Store the chair in a dry, ventilated area when not in use.
Materials
The chair is made of high-quality materials that are environmentally friendly and designed to last. The hand-woven elastic bands are highly resistant and slide on the frame to provide support for every area of the body. The chair is designed to allow even people with limited mobility he minimum effort to sit and stand up thanks to the footrest that perpendicular to the ground. The headrest, included in the product, can be adjusted as required and can be eventually removed. It is designed without frills as the best design philosophy dictates, with a system of high-resistance hand-woven elastic bands that use the sliding on the frame to ensure the correct support and well-being for every area of the body. In a raised position, it brings the legs to the level of the heart, promoting circulatory well-being.
SETTING UP

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Place the article on a flat surface, with the legs on the floor and the backrest upwards (A), then proceed with unfolding: hold the top of the backrest with an hand and the bottom of the armrest with the other hand. Pull the backrest upwards while pushing the armrest downwards (B) until the legs are wide completely open (C). Before sitting down, bring the backrest to its vertical position. FOLDING: keep the backrest in vertical position (D), hold the bottom of an armrest and draw it toward the backrest (E), until the article is completely folded. USE: To fix it, pull the regulation device (G). To change position it is necessary to push lightly the feet on the lower part of the frame (fig. H) to the wished direction. To rejoin the seat position, with your weight forward , push the feet on the frame. It is important to check that the safety device under each armrest is not locked during all movements (F).
IMPORTANT : In order to use this item in utter safety, ensure it is correctly open as per the instructions. FIAM disclaims any liability in the event of disputes caused by failure to comply with this recommendation
CONDITIONS FOR USE
This product is only for private and leisure use. FIAM disclaims any liability and any warranty in the event of professional use not agreed beforehand. The item is designed and made for “normally foreseeable” use, which involves:
- Adhering to the load it has been designed for, i.e. 100 kg maximum dynamic load. Simultaneous use by two people is to be avoided, even only to momentarily or partially rest against it.
- Sitting gently on the chair, without letting yourself drop into it.
- Use by children being monitored by adults.
- Regular maintenance of the item and periodic checks, and if required, replacement of the parts subject to wear.
- Storing the item away from weathering in a dry place when not in use. It is recommended not to leave the product exposed to water for a long time and to dry it in the sun if that should happen, ensuring no water is left standing within the structure. Normal wear (i.e. scratching, rust, discolouring) of the parts exposed to weathering or subject to movement, cannot be considered a manufacturing defect.
WARRANTY
This FIAM product has been designed to give you the highest degree of satisfaction and safety. It is guaranteed for two years against any manufacturing defect. This warranty does not cover misuse of the product (see conditions of use). Having ascertained the defect, FIAM shall provide the replacement parts, repair or replace the product free of charge
HOW THE WARRANTY WORKS
If your product is defective contact:
- Your usual shop, which will assure technical support.
- Should the shop be unable to solve the problem, contact the FIAM Consumer service directly.
- Your complaint will be examined if proof of purchase is provided therewith. Any return of goods must be agreed with FIAM beforehand.
SPARE PARTS
The spare parts for perfect maintenance of your chair are available. The parts subject to wear can be purchased from your usual shop. Should you be unable to solve the problem, contact the Fiam customer service at customercare@fiam.it.

APPROVAL
The product meets the general safety requirements according to the European standard EN581.
Upon purchasing, it is recommended to assess the type and place of use of the product, choosing the most appropriate materials for the specific need. The products with painted iron frame are recommended for use on grass or non- sensitive flooring (rusty water might leak out of the tubes if left out in the rain). For use on fragile flooring it is recommended to opt for the aluminium product. The aluminum products are made of a high-strenght alloy enriched with manganese to ensure solidity while maintaining the flexibility and lightness typical of this material. The metal is bent and machined industrially while the assembly of parts is still traditionally done by hand. During the working process it is normal for the metal to suffer from surface scratches that do not compromise its functionality in any way, but rather testify the process of transformation of the metal itself into a product destined to last over time The desire to aim for the essence of things, to design while focusing on functionality and aesthetic neatness, is in itself an ethical attitude that shuns waste and is environmentally friendly.
