Happy Holidays Table Mat with Janet

Dates: Tuesday, May 10th from 5:30-8pm OR
Friday, May 13th from 10:30am-1:00pm

Supplies to bring to class:

Sewing machine in working order with all cords and pedals, machine feet and your machine manual
Grid Glider (if you use it for ¼” seams and to avoid having to mark many seams) and Perkins Perfect Seam Guide
Cotton piecing thread and bobbins already wound and ready to sew
Scissors and snips
Rotary cutter and rulers (we always recommend Creative Grids rulers and at least one ruler that is 6 ½” x 24 ½” and at least one additional ruler)
Creative Grids CGRT 60 -60 degree equilateral triangle ruler
Seam ripper, Pin cushion and pins
Small iron and ironing mat or wooly mat
Frixxion fabric marker (works better than pens)

Pattern: Happy Holidays from Atkinson Designs (available at Cinnamon’s Quilt Shoppe)
Fabric:
Three fat quarters of print fabric
5/8 yard background fabric (fabric will be in the middle and then around the outside edges as well)
3/8 yard binding (not needed for class)
1 yard backing (not needed for class)
PLEASE PRE-CUT YOUR FABRIC BEFORE CLASS AS FOLLOWS:
Background: cut 2 strips at 5” and one strip at 8 ¼”
From two fat quarters, cut 2 strips each at 5” x 21”
From third fat quarter, cut 3 strips at 5” x 21”
