private homes. Any use other than the one described above or modifications to
the product are not permitted and may result in injury and/or damage to the
product. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage resulting from
improper use or damage caused during installation. This product is not
intended for commercial use. Using this product during frost may damage it.

Never leave children alone or unattended in the vicinity of the product and
its packaging materials. The packaging and contents pose risks of suffocation,
strangulation and injury. Children are not aware of these dangers. Keep
children away from the product at all times. The product is not a toy.
WARNING! RISK OF FALLING! LIFE-THREATENING DANGER AND RISK OF INJURY,
PARTICULARLY FOR CHILDREN AND TODDLERS!
Do not lean against the product! This product is not a reliable exit barrier
and must not be used as a replacement for a closed window or door. The product
may give way if it is leaned against, creating a risk of falling. Insect
screens do not provide effective protection against falling out of windows or
doors. Keep children away from open windows and doors and never leave them
unattended.
The product should only be attached to windows and doors which can be accessed
safely due to the risk of falling. Do not lean out of the window / door or
against the product and do not push against the insect screen from inside when
attaching, removing or cleaning the product.
CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY!
Incorrect assembly and the use of unsuitable tools can present a risk of
injury. Use work gloves if necessary.
The product should only be assembled and operated by individuals who have read
the instructions and who have the physical and mental capacity to assemble the
product safely by themselves.
Incomplete assembly kits or damaged parts may under no circumstances be used
for assembly. This could impair the operation and safety of the product. Keep
the product and all flammable parts away from heat sources and fire.

Cleaning and care
• Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents.
• Clean the mesh and frame with a lint-free, slightly moistened cloth.
• Clean the insect screen door regularly.
• If necessary, use a mild detergent.
Disposal
The packaging is made from environmentally friendly materials. Dispose of it using local recycling containers. You can find out how to dispose of the used up product by contacting your municipality or town council.

FAQ
Is this insect screen door suitable for mounting between door and roller shutter?****
– Yes, provided that the space between door and roller shutter is sufficient. The corresponding dimensions can be found in the respective product information/technical data.
What can I do if parts are missing from the kit or defective?****
– If you find that a part listed in the scope of delivery is missing or defective, please inform us by sending the item number of your product and the purchase receipt via e-mail to office@smartmaxx.info or use our contact form. Within the warranty period, you will receive a replacement free of charge.
What is the best way to shorten aluminium profiles?****
– Preferably, use an iron saw to shorten aluminium profiles. Place the parts in a mitre box, fix them in place without crushing them, if necessary with a screw clamp, to achieve a precise, straight cut. As a safety precaution, we recommend wearing work gloves. Width B and height H are the inside dimensions of the door (from one interior edge of the door frame to the other).
What is important when installing the clamping strips?****
– The mesh must not be tensioned additionally when mounting the clamping strips. The clamping process causes the fabric to tension itself. Additional tension can cause distortion of the frame. We recommend to first fix the clamping strips to the broad sides and then to the longitudinal sides of the frame.
