Network usage environment
- MetaBox Pro needs to be connected to the Internet environment (with Internet access) before it can be used.
- It is recommended that you connect MetaBox Pro to a first-level router, the faster the network response speed.
- Please set the “UPNP” option of the router to “ON” state.

Installing the hard disk
(Take HS200 for example, HS500 is similar)
- Open gently from the bottom of the face cover.
- Push the slip buckle in the left direction,auto-pop tray handle.
- Grab the handle and pull out the tray.
- Install the 2.5″ /3.5″ SATA HDD/SSD, secured with screws.
- Put the hard drive tray back into the MetaBox Pro.
- Bring the face cover close to the fuselage, and automatically attach the cover to complete the hard drive installation.
Device Connection Startup And Shutdown
Device connection
- Use the standard network cable, connect one end to the network port of the MetaBox Pro, and the other end to the router LAN port.
- Using the power adapter, connect one end to the power port of the MetaBox Pro and the other end to the power socket.
- After turning on the power, press the power switch key to turn on.

Button to turn on and off
By default, it automatically turns on when power is applied.
Power on: Short press the power button, the device starts to start after the “di” sound.
Shutdown: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, the device starts to shut down after the “beep” sound. -
Remote shutdown
Shutdown through the client Weline APP operation.

install it.
User Registration And Login
Registered User
- Please open and run the “Weline” APP on your mobile phone.
- When using the APP for the first time, you need to register a personal account, click “No account, click Register”, and complete the user registration as required.
User Login
- After the registration is complete, return to the login window.
- Enter the registered account and password, check the user agreement and privacy policy, click Login, and jump to the “Resources” home page.
Device Binding
- Go to the “Resources” homepage, click the “ ” symbol in the upper right corner, and then click “Scan” to scan the QR code of the MetaBox Pro device.
- Scan the code to bind the device successfully, click “OK”.
① Owner/Administrator binding
- The first user becomes the owner of the device after binding the device, and a device has only one owner.
② Invited users to join
- The invited user needs to scan the invitation QR code shared by the owner/ administrator to join the device.
- The sharing code is time-limited.
- After scanning the QR code, invited users need to be confirmed by the owner/ administrator before joining.
Device unbinding

Owner unbind
Owner unbinding can clear all data of himself and all invited users, and all users will no longer be able to use the device. -
Invited users unbind
The unbinding operation of an invited user only clears all personal data of the invited user, and other user data is not affected and can still be used.
- If you confirm the unbinding, please back up the data in ORICO MetaBox Pro in advance.
- The data cleared due to unbinding cannot be recovered, please operate with caution.
File Management
Enter File Management
- Choose Resources > Network from the navigation bar to access the bound MetaBox Pro device.
- Click the device node to enter the Node Details file management window. You can operate various functions.
Device reset instructions
If the user needs to reset the device, he can perform the reset operation
by long pressing (10 seconds) the reset button (Reset) on the back of the
device. This operation will reset the network settings set by the user, but
will not affect the user’s storage to Data on the hard disk, please operate
with caution.

- Please do not hit, throw, or puncture the product, and avoid dropping, squeezing, or bending.
- Please do not use or store this product in a humid environment and avoid being wetted or rinsed with liquids.

- Please do not disassemble and repair the product or accessories without the authorization of ORICO.
