Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution m when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.

Features & Controls

Power

Plug the included AC/DC power adapter into the DC POWER INPUT on the unit and an AC power outlet to power the unit.
Power

Battery Backup

The battery backup is intended for short power outages only.
The unit’s primary functions cannot run off of the battery backup alone.
Requires 2 AAA-size batteries (not included).

Mounting Under a Cabinet

Use and follow the instructions on the included Mounting Template when attaching to the underside of your cabinet.

USB and Aux In

USB Mode

With the power on, press the Source button to change the unit to USB mode.
Insert a USB drive into the port on the side of the unit. Playback should begin automatically.
The unit will switch to USB mode while in other modes when inserting a USB drive.

Auxin Mode

With the power on, press the Source button to change the unit to AUX In mode.
Plug a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) into the port on the side of the unit. Playback should begin automatically.
The unit will switch to AUX In mode while in other modes when inserting a 3.5mm audio cable.

Charge Mobile Devices

Plug the unit into a wall outlet. Use an appropriate USB charging cable to connect the USB port on the unit and the device you wish to charge. Unit charges with a 5V 1A output.

Clock & Sleep Timer

Setting the Clock

With the power off, press the Play/Pause/Memory/Clock button. The hour on the display will begin blinking.
Press the Tune buttons to adjust the hour.
Press the Play/Pause/Memory/Clock button again to adjust the minutes The minutes on the display will begin blinking.
Press the Tune buttons to adjust the minutes.
Press the Play/Pause/Memory/Clock button to finish setting the time.

Setting the Timer

Press the Timer button, the display will begin flashing.
Press and hold the Tune buttons to adjust the timer in increments of 10 min. Ex. 180,170 or 0. Short press the Tune buttons to adjust the timer in increments/decrements of 1 min.
After the set time has expired the under cabinet music system will sound an alarm through the speaker.
To cancel the alarm after it sounds off, press the Power button.
To cancel the timer before the alarm has sounded, press and hold the Tune button until the display reads 0.

Alarm

Setting the Alarm

With the power OFF, press and hold the Alarm button. The hour on the display will begin blinking.
Press the Tune buttons to adjust the hour.
Press the Alarm button. The minutes on the display will begin blinking.
Press the Tune buttons to adjust the minutes.
Press the Alarm Set button.
Press the Source button to select the alarm source: Radio or Buzzer. Refer to the Radio section for more information on tuning the radio.
Press the Alarm button.
To turn the alarm OFF, press the Power button.
To cancel the alarm before the alarm has sounded, press the Alarm button.

Bluetooth

Pairing a Bluetooth Device for the First Time

Power the unit ON and press the Source button to switch to Bluetooth mode. The Pairing Indicator will begin slowly flashing blue.
Press the Pair button. The Pairing Indicator will begin quickly flashing blue. When pairing, remain within 3 feet of the unit.
Using the controls on your Bluetooth device to select IKB323SMP3U in your Bluetooth settings to pair. If your device requests a password, enter the default password O O O 0. You may need to refer to the user’s manual for your specific device for instructions on pairing and connecting Bluetooth devices.
When successfully paired and connected, the Pairing Indicator will display a solid blue light. After initial pairing, the unit will stay paired unless unpaired manually by the user or erased due to a reset of the device. If your device should become unpaired or you find it is unable to connect, repeat the above steps or press the Pair button to start the pairing process pairing again.

Playing Audio Wirelessly

Use the native controls on the connected Bluetooth Device to select a track.
To play or pause the selected track, use the native controls on the connected Bluetooth Device or the Play/Pause/Memory/Clock button on the unit.

Auto Clock Set

The clock can be auto set to match the time on a connected phone.

If clock is already set, unplug the unit, and plug it back in to reset clock.
Pair the unit to your phone using the Bluetooth pairing steps above.
If using an iPhone, access your Bluetooth settings menu, select IKB323SMP3U and turn on “Show Notifications” to sync phone time to the clock.
If using a Samsung, access your Bluetooth settings menu, select IKB323SMP3U and turn on “Manage Access” to sync phone time to the clock.

Radio

Tuning the FM Radio

Press the Power button to turn the under cabinet music system on.
Press the Source button to switch to FM Radio Mode.
Press the Tune button to tune the radio.

Saving and Tuning Preset Radio Stations

Tune to the desired station.
Press and hold the Play/Pause/Memory/Clock button.
Preset number will appear on the display.
Press the Tune buttons to adjust to the desired preset number.
Press the Play/Pause/Memory/Clock button to save the current radio station to the selected preset.
Press the Play/Pause/Memory/Clock button to cycle through preset radio stations.
