SUPERIOR IONIC CONDITIONING
Many aspects of modern living, including air conditioning, contact with man-
made fibers & air pollution add to the build-up of static electricity in your
hair. Even simply brushing & towel-drying your hair can increase these levels.
This static charge causes the scales, or cuticles of the hair, to push hair
strands apart, resulting in a rough hair surface. Consequently, your hair may
have a dull appearance. High levels of static charge cause your hair to become
‘flyaway’ & difficult to style.
The advanced super anti-frizz technology releases 60% more ions* to eliminate
static, conditioning the hair cuticle for ultimate frizz-free smoothness &
enhanced shine.
CERAMIC TECHNOLOGY
Ceramic Technology helps keep your hair looking healthy & shiny by maintaining even heat during the drying & styling process. Static is reduced by quickly sealing the hair cuticle layer ensuring minimal frizz making your hair easier to manage.
Than a VS Sassoon hot air styler with standard ionic. Results may vary depending on environmental factors, hair texture and condition.
IMPORTANT:
Hair that has been heavily bleached or chemically treated should only use the
low heat setting on this product. Please consult your hairdresser on using
heated appliances if you have any concerns about the condition of your hair.
CAUTION:
Take care not to direct the airflow directly onto the skin (e.g. scalp, neck
ears, face, etc.) as hot air from the styler can, particularly if held too
close, cause discomfort or even burn.
BEFORE USING
- Remove all packaging & point of sale labels before use.
- Remove plastic cover from plug before use (used to protect it from damage during transportation).
FITTING & REMOVING THE ATTACHMENTS
Slip the brush head onto the body of the unit & lock into place by sliding the
lock button located at the top or back of the brush attachment. To remove the
brush attachment, unlock it & gently pull it off.
PROTECTIVE BRUSH COVERS
Brush covers for the 40mm brush head & 50mm brush heads are in-cluded for
protection & easy storage. After use, always replace the pro-tective cover
shield over the brush head to protect the bristles.
DRIES & PREPS:
Nozzle with high-pressure airflow, ideal for blast drying hair to prep for
tyling.
To use:
Direct the airflow onto the hair & move the Digital Sensor Luxe Air Styler
around the head until your hair is about 80% dry.
NOTE: If you notice the indicator light is flashing, this is completely normal. The Digital Sensor Luxe Air Styler is automatically adjusting the temperature to ensure sustained styling consistency + a gentler & kinder heat for the hair.
DETANGLES & SMOOTHES:
3D paddle brush with dual-action taming bristles & straightening fins, for effortless detangling & smoothing as you brush.
To use:
- For a smoother, bouncy style:
- Place the paddle brush head under a section of hair approximately 3cm wide, close to the scalp with the bristles pointing upwards.
- Use your other hand to pull the hair section taut against the brush head until the combs penetrate through the hair.
- Gently glide the brush head through the section of hair, from root to tip.
- As the brush head nears the end of the hair section, turn the brush head under to give shape at the ends of the hair.
- For added control, place your other hand over the brush head as you glide down the hair section.
- Repeat for each section of hair.
- For a smoother, sleeker style:
- Moderately stretch sections of your hair with your free hand & place the paddle brush over the top of the hair section with the bristles pointing downwards, like you would with a normal hairbrush, ensuring your hair penetrates deep into the bristles.
- Use your other hand to hold the end of the the hair section, to help guide the brush.
- Gently glide the brush head through the section of hair, from root to tip.
- As the brush head nears the end of the hair section, hold for a little longer at the ends to give a sleeker finish to the end of the hair section.
- Repeat for each section of hair.
NOTE: If you notice the indicator light is flashing, this is completely normal. The Digital Sensor Luxe Air Styler is automatically adjusting the temperature to ensure sustained styling consistency + a gentler & kinder heat for the hair.
VOLUME & BOUNCE:
Create a salon styled blowout with 2x multi-directional motorised spinning
brushes that rotate left or right to add volume & softly rounded ends, or
rotate in the opposite direction to change up your look. 50mm round brush
= use on long hair lengths
40mm round brush = use on shorter hair lengths & fringes
BRUSH ROTATION TIPS:
- Your styler has a two-way rotation that can be used when styling.
- To make the brush head rotate press the switch marked ‘ ’ or ‘ ’ on the styler handle. These will make the brush head rotate in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction.
- Practice pressing the left & right rotation buttons to ensure you understand the rotation directions before styling your hair.
- When the Digital Sensor Luxe Air Styler is set on the high heat/speed setting, the brush head will rotate faster. When the styler is set on the low heat/speed setting the brush head will rotate slower.
- The brush head does not rotate when used on the cool setting.
To use:
-
Choose either the 50mm or 40mm round brush.
-
Divide your hair into sections, between 2.5cm – 5cm wide & no more than 1cm thick (if you have thick hair make the section around 5mm thick).
-
Place the brush under the section of hair, close to the roots & brush through the section to remove tangles (without brush rotating).
-
For added volume at the root of the hair, hold the brush in place at the root (hair section is draped over top of brush) for a few seconds.
-
Move the brush through the hair section (hair is draped over top of brush), towards the ends & as you reach the end of the hair section; start to rotate the brush away from your head by pressing & holding the appropriate rotation direction switch ‘ ’ or ‘ ’.
NOTE: As you do this, it is important to resist the rotation of the brush by pulling the brush downwards. The brush should be rotating through the section of your hair (without the hair becoming wound round the brush head if you are holding the styler with the correct tension against the hair) to create a brushing effect. -
For even more volume, allow the brush to rotate, winding the entire section of hair around the barrel, the brush will move upwards towards your scalp then release the rotation switch & leave in the hair for a few seconds.
-
To release the section of hair, press & hold the opposite rotation button to unwind the hair section.
-
Repeat for each section of hair.
-
For a lasting style, switch to the cool setting whilst holding the brush in place. NOTE: The brush head does not rotate on this setting.
NOTE: If you notice the indicator light is flashing, this is completely normal. The Digital Sensor Luxe Air Styler is automatically adjusting the temperature to ensure sustained styling consistency + a gentler & kinder heat for the hair.
IMPORTANT USAGE TIPS:
It may take several attempts to perfect the technique of using a rotating hot
air styler. If the brush spins too quickly & hair wraps around the brush head,
simply release the rotation button & remove from the hair. Use the low speed
setting & practice rotating the brush on the lower ends of your hair until you
feel comfortable with the styling action. If hair continues to wrap around the
barrel, you need to increase the downward tension. It’s ESSENTIAL to section
your hair before styling & to style section-by-section to get the best
results.
SHAPES & STYLES:
30mm hard bristle brush for smooth shaping of ends, fringes or styling shorter hair lengths.
To use:
- Place the brush head underneath a section of hair, close to the scalp & hold for a few seconds to boost volume at the roots.
- Slowly move the brush head down through the hair, as you reach the end of the hair section, rotate the slightly towards your face to curl the ends under & create shape for a more natural style.
- For a lasting style, select the cool setting on warm hair whilst holding the brush head at the roots.
- Repeat for each section of hair.
NOTE: If you notice the indicator light is flashing, this is completely normal. The Digital Sensor Luxe Air Styler is automatically adjusting the temperature to ensure sustained styling consistency + a gentler & kinder heat for the hair.
TAMES & FINISHES:
2-in-1 styling comb helps to create volume at the roots or use it to tame frizz & flyaways for a flawless blow-out.
To use:
For taming frizz & flaways:
- Turn the dial on the top of the attachment to setting .
- Take a section of hair approximately 3cm wide & starting close to the scalp, place the comb above the section of hair (with the teeth of the comb pointing downwards) (refer Fig.1).
- Slide the power handle gently along the section of hair from the roots to the tips, ensuring that the comb goes right into the hair, while using your other hand to help stretch out the section of hair (refer Fig.2).
For volume at the roots:
- Turn the dial on the top of the attachment to setting .
- Take a section of hair approximately 3cm wide & place the comb directly at the roots of the hair (with the teeth of the comb pointing upwards) (refer Fig.3).
- Hold the comb in place for 5-8 seconds, depending on the hair type.
- Then gently slide the power handle along the section of hair from the roots to the tips, ensuring that the comb goes right into the hair, while using your other hand to help stretch out the section of hair (refer Fig.2).
NOTE: If you notice the indicator light is flashing, this is completely normal. The Digital Sensor Luxe Air Styler is automatically adjusting the temperature to ensure sustained styling consistency + a gentler & kinder heat for the hair.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Blocked or clogged air intake vents will cause the styler to overheat. The
rear filter should be checked & cleaned on a regular basis – to help maintain
optimum performance & prevent overheating.
Unplug the styler & allow to cool completely before cleaning or storing.
- Holding the handle of your styler firmly, click down to open the rear filter at the base of the styler.
- Using a soft brush, clean any hair & other debris that may build up in the filter.
- Replace the rear filter by pushing back into position
If overheating occurs, an automatic safety device will shut the styler or the heat off to prevent damage or personal injury. If the styler or heat turns off, unplug the cord & allow the styler to cool for 15 minutes before restarting. Make sure the air vents are 100% clean.
