Instruction Manual
R865 LED Recessed Luminaire
Driver Sold Separately
Constant Current – Wirein series
Do not connect luminaire/s to driver if driver is live.
Inrush current from live driver will cause instant failure of all connected
luminaires. Do not switch secondary side.

Driver should be installed above insulation unless using an Under Insulation Driver ( UID ).
Warning
CA135 only if used in non-tilted o r internally tilted position.
I fluminaire is likely to be frequently adjusted, install as CA135.
IC Rated if used externally tilted position only.
If covering and abutting with insulation always secure the screw on the tilt
mechanism to lock tilted position so luminaire cannot be pushed back into
housing. If luminaire is not tilted and covered and abutted with insulation,
fitting will overheat.
This luminaire must be installed by a qualified Registered Electrician to prevent damage to the luminaire and maintain electrical safety.
Installation Directions
- Switch off mains power supply
- Connect Driver to mains voltage cable (L, N)
- Carefully install downlight into pre-cut 75mm hole.
- Turn on mains power and switch on lighting circuit.

In the vicinity of the recessed luminaire, use an insulation product that:
(a) Maintains its dimensions and structural integrity when exposed to a
temperature of 90°C; and
(b) Withstands a 30-second needle flame test carried out in accordance with
AS/NZS 60695.11.5 with the flame applied to all surfaces of the sample.
Recessed luminaires and their associated equipment may pose a risk of fire or
damage to property if not installed and maintained correctly.
This data sheet contains information necessary to ensure compliance with the
