How to Use BonoSleep

  1. Charge it
    Pick the USB charger from the box. Plug it in. Charge it fully (2 hours). Once the device is fully charged, the green light stops pulsating and stays on.

  2. Turn it on
    Locate the 3 buttons. Hold the middle button (“Power/Mode”) for 3 sec. A steady green light is blinking now.
    *Tip: if blinking light distracts, a simple non-transpar- ent sticker on it will help.

  3. Adjust the pulse
    Use “+” and “-” buttons to adjust the intensity (5 levels). Wait 10 sec after every change. You should feel small electrical shocks. It should not hurt. Adjust the intensity and placement of the device to feel comfortable.

  4. Find your grip
    Use the left hand. Two silver plates should touch your palm simultaneously. Loosen or tighten your grip until comfortable.bono wellness BonoSleep

  5. Turn it off
    The device automatically turns off after 20 min.
    Hold the ”Power/Mode” button to turn off manually.
    Woke up during the night? Use BonoSleep again to get back to sleep faster.

Functioning Modes

Modes

The device has 4 functioning modes, which are switched by shortly pressing the middle “Power/ Mode” button.
MODES

  1. Low frequency (green light flashes slowly).
  2. Low frequency + heating (green/red light flashes slowly). The same as first, but gives a warm sensation for extra relaxation.
  3. High frequency (green light flashes quickly).
  4. High frequency + heating (green/red light flashes quickly).
  • For most people, the recommended mode is 1 or 2 and the left hand. However some people fall asleep easier using 3/4 modes.
    ** Dim green/red light on heating mode can only be seen in the dark.

Things to remember

  • After changing the setting wait at least 10 sec. in order for pulse strength to change.

  • Concentrate your mind on the pulses.
    If you are still awake after the first 20 min cycle, turn it on for another cycle. Continue the pattern until you fall asleep.

  • For some the sensation could be unpleasant at first. It’s normal. After some days your body will get used to it.

  • Every part of the palm has a different sensitivity. Finding the less sensitive part feels like less shock.
    Too much shock could be distracting.

  • Some feel benefits after the first night, others after 7-12 nights. With time your body starts to recognize pulses as a trigger to sleep.

  • If you don’t find it effective or comfortable, try the right hand.

  • Depending on usage, the battery lasts ~1 week. However, the battery lasts less when heating mode is used.

Precautions

  • Don’t use the device if you have other medical devices implanted, such as pacemakers.
  • Consult with your doctor prior to using the device if you: are pregnant, have a history of heart issues, nerve damage, skin condition, epilepsy or other serious conditions that may upset your nervous system.
  • It is not recommended for children under 6 years of age since their tiny hands and sensitive skin may not enjoy the sensation.
  • Stop using the device if you notice any negative reaction.
  • Do not use the device in environments with high humidity such as bathrooms.
  • Do not disassemble, repair or modify the device by yourself.
  • Do not use this product for any purpose other than its intended use.
