Installation of receiving devices should be carried out by a qualified electrician. Any device with the signs of damage and/ or missing parts should NOT be installed and should be returned. **Before commencing any electrical work, to prevent the possibility of receiving an electric shock, ensure the mains isolator on the consumer unit is in the ‘OFF’ position and safely isolated in accordance with Best Practice Guide 3. Devices are designed to be mounted internally only. Install the device away from strong signal sources such as microwaves that may cause signal interruption resulting to abnormal operation of the device. Obstruction by concrete walls or metallic materials may reduce the effective operation range of the device and should be avoided. Do NOT attempt to dissemble, repair of modify the device.

Product Description

ClickSmart+ switching receiver can switch up to 100W of LED loads. Its NO Neutral termination means they can be fitted behind switches. It works in conjunction with other devices to design and implement smart application scenarios, Such as a motion detection turning on a light with the ClickSmart+ PIR (CSP032) The receivers can also be DIN rail mounted with the mounting bracket.

Preparation For Use
The switching receivers require the ClickSmart+ Hub (CSP010). To use the switching receivers you will need to ensure that you have a mobile device running iOS 8 or higher or Android 4.1x or higher.

Wiring Instructions

  1. Safely isolate** the power supply at the MCB before carrying out any  electrical installation work.

  2. Connect the wires according to the wiring diagram.

  3. Insert the module into the back box or bracket at the light fitting.
    NOTE: to be used with a 35mm Back Box

Putting the device into pairing mode

Manual Mode
To place the switching receiver in paring mode, first please ensure that the ClickSmart+ Hub (CSP010) is set up and paired to your ClickSmart+ App.

  1. Ensure the light wired to the receiver is working as usual. Please test this by switching the light on and off. If the light does not switch on and off – the receiver is already in pairing mode.

  2. To place the receiver in pairing mode, switch the fitting ON and OFF x5 times until the light no longer turns ON or OFF at the switch – or the blue LED indicator on the receiver is flashing. The receiver is now in pairing mode

Reset Key Mode To place the switching receiver in paring mode, first please ensure that the ClickSmart+ Hub (CSP010) is set up and paired to your ClickSmart+ App.

  1. Ensure the light wired to the receiver is working as usual. Please test this by switching the light on and off. If the Blue LED on the receiver is already flashing- the device is already in pairing mode.

  2. To place the receiver in pairing mode using the reset key. Insert a reset key or pin into the designated hole for 5 seconds until the blue LED indicator on the receiver is flashing. The receiver is now in pairing mode.

Pairing the device with the Click Smart + App

On the ClickSmart+ app’s home page, tap the previously connected ClickSmart+ Hub icon. On the Hub page, tap ‘add Sub-device’ and select ‘LED already Blinking’
Alternatively Tap the ‘+’ symbol in the top right corner and navigate 1G Switch Module or 2G Switch Module.

Pairing the device

Note: Please rename device in the ClickSmart+ Application before creating Automations or ‘Tap to Runs’.

FAQ

What should I do if I can’t pair receiver with the Click Smart + App?

  • Check whether device is powered on by using the manual switch
  • Make sure the Zigbee Gateway is connected and working on the ClickSmart+ App.
  • Check that you have an internet connection
  • Make sure the wiring is correct

What device can be connected to the Switching Receivers?

  • Most household appliances can be connected to the receivers as long as they are within the stated Wattage/Amp rating.

What happens if the WiFi goes off?

  • You can still control the device with your traditional switch. Once WiFi is active again the device will connect automatically to your WiFi

What should I do if I change the WiFi network or change the password?

  • If you change your WiFi Router or Network please re connect your ClickSmart+ Hub (CSP010) to your new router using the provided power cable and Ethernet cable. You do not need to reset or pair the hub to the new router. After a period of 5 minutes, your receivers should be working as usual.
